Xiaomi Announces Redmi G gaming laptop

Xiaomi has unveiled its Redmi G  gaming laptop for the masses - the new Redmi G 2021  - powered by Intel Core and AMD’s Ryzen chipsets. The laptop comes with two flavors - An Intel Core i5 - 11260H chipset with a RTX 3050  and a 130W charger or An AMD Ryzen 5800H with a RTX 3060 GPU which comes with a beefier 230W charger. Apart from these differences, the chassis remains the same for both models and thus you can expect it to come with a 16.1” LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate and the chassis also has a DTS-X Ultra 3D audio speaker and backlit mechanical keyboard.  The base model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage and you may be able to upgrade these (fingers crossed). Pricing starts at CNY 5700 ($880 for the Intel variant) and CNY 7000 ($1080 for the Ryzen model). The laptops will go on sale in China first and will be launched elsewhere later on. Xiaomi Pad 5

Apart from the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, the company also announced their return to the now hot tablet market with the Xiaomi Pad 5. Apart from the obvious cosmetic similarities to Samsungs and Apple's tablet offering, the Xiaomi Pad has specs to compete and even has a stylus on tow.  Powered by a Snapdragon 860 SOC, the tablet has 6GB of ram with 128GB or 256GB storage options with no expansion. The front of the tablet is dominated by a 2560x1600 resolution 120Hz IPS LCD with Stylus support and stands at 11". Dolby vision and HDR10 is supported as well. The cameras on the tablet include a single 13MP sensor at the back and one 8MP sensor at the front and the tablet supports 4K video recording at 30fps. Redmi 10 Prime

Xiaomi's Redmi division has announced a new handset named the Redmi 10 Prime. The handset - marketed to the Indian market brings a 6.5" LCD with FHD+ resolution and 90hz refresh rate and is powered by a Mediatek Helio G88 chipset with 4/6GB of RAM with 64/129GB of onboard storage. The camera modules consist of a 8MP front, a 50MP rear with a 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The phone has 18W fast charging and has a 6000 mAh battery and it ships with Android 11 out of the box with prices set for INR12499 for the base model and INR 14499 for the top tier GB/128GB model and will ship on the 7th of September. POCO X3 GT

  Xiaomi's sub-brand POCO has announced their latest POCO X3 GT handset today. The POCO X3 GT features a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset with 8GB ram and 128/256GB of storage (UFS3.1). The display of the phone measures at 6.6" 120 hz and has a FHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The cameras on the model features 64MP main, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro and has a 16MP punch-hole front sensor.The battery of the phone is 5000 mAh and has 67W fast charging.The model comes with Android 11 with MIUI 12.5. Poco F3 GT

Poco - Xiaomi's offshoot brand has announced their gaming oriented F3 GT smartphone. The device, which is based on the Xiaomi K40 phone launched previously packs a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 Soc and 6/8GB of RAM with 128/256GB of storage. The phone being IP rated does protect against most splashes in life and it also has a graphene heat sink and vapor chamber on tow as well. The front of the phone features a 6.67" FHD+ resolution - 120hz AMOLED display and features a 16MP selfie camera in a punch hole and has a 64MP main rear camera , a 8MP ultra wide and 2mp macro camera to round off the typical 3 camera layout found nowadays. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 leaks out

 Xiaomi's upcoming Mi Pad 5 has leaked out, the tablet , which is said to capitalize on the recent success of tablets currently dominated by Apple and Samsung. The Mi Pad 5 - which is said to feature two models one powered by the Snapdragon 870 and the other with a Snapdragon 860 Soc. The Snapdragon 870 version of the tablet is said to feature a 11"  2K display with 120 hz refresh rate , a 48MP rear camera and 65W fast charging while the 860 model will be released after the 870 at a lower cost featuring 22W fast charging and feature a 12MP rear camera. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G announced in China

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has announced their latest Note 10 series of handsets today. The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for the Chinese market feature "better specifications" than their global brethren sans the AMOLED displays.  The Note 10 Pro 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset with 6/8GB ram and 128/256GB of storage (UFS3.1). Redmi Note 8 Receives a refresh for 2021

Xiaomi has been on a roll when it comes to launching new products, but sometimes the old models seem to be more popular than their current ones, so Xiaomi's Redmi sub-brand has decided to re-launch its best selling smartphone as the Redmi Note 8 2021. The handset, first launched as the Redmi 8 (2019), packed decent mid-range specifications for an affordable price, much so that 25 million units were sold and Xiaomi hopes to cater to that market by essentially repackaging new internals into a an already existing design - so the splash resistance, the notch and the 6.3" 2340x1080 resolution display remain unchanged with the new hardware specs being a Mediatek Hello G85 Chipset with 4GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB storage , a 4 sensor camera array (48MP main,8MP ultra wide,2mp depth and 2mp macro, a 13MP front sensor and a 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging being the specs available for the new model. POCO M3 PRO 5G

Xiaomi's POCO sub-brand has announced the new POCO M3 Pro - a more advanced version of the Poco M3 launched a few months back. The device - which is said to break the internet once again (as it's Xiaomi and POCO brethren selling over 17.5 million units and the M3 selling over 3.2 million since its launch. The POCO M3 pro and its 5G variant are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset (MT6833) and has 4GB ram with 64GB  or 6GB ram with 128GB storage (UFS2.2). The phone features NFC , Bluetooth 5.1 as well as FM radio with a 3.5 mm jack.  Below the 6.5" sheet of Gorilla glass 3 sits a 2400x1080 resolution IPS display, the front also features a 8MP sensor with 1080p recording. Xiaomi MI-6

Xiaomi has anounced their latest Snapdragon 835 powered flagship smartphone for 2017 . The new Mi-6 , designed on the success of the Mi-5 features a dual camera set up , a powerful processor , 6GB of ram and MIUI 8 - Android 7.0 nougat Design and Display First off , the smartphone appears to feature the same metal and glass chassis from the previous generation - the 2.5D curve on both sides , include the almost edge like curve give the phone a sleek modern look while feeling great in the hand . Xiaomi's Yi 4K+ uses new 64bit SOC ,4k@60fps recording

Xiaomi Mi 4C has officially gone on sale in Mainland China , the phone , a Snapdragon 808 powered device is priced at a very affordable ~$220 and it comes with all the bells and whistles of more expensive products at half the price . Xiaomi has announced a new handset called the Mi 4i in India today (available now for INR 12999), the phone , a cheaper variant of the flagship Mi4 will still hold its own ground as the phone packs some heavy power under the impressive shell while costing a absurdly low $200 off contract . Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G announced at a affordable $162 price
