Panasonic Lumix GX9 is official

Panasonic has officially announced their latest M4 / 3 mirrorless camera – the Lumix GX9 , this camera , designed with compact mirrorless shooters in mind , is somewhat related to the Panasonic GH / G lineup as it shares a similar 20MP Micro 4 / 3 sensor with no low pass filter . The camera ,unlike its predecessor – the GX8 , is now capable of delivering reduced shutter shock ( 90 % reduction from its predecessor ) and this is achieved  thanks to a new electromagnetic drive system . The camera , in some regards is still capable of 4K 24 / 30p like the previous model , and this , combined with the IBIS allows 5 axis stabilization for video and photo . Another improvement is the viewfinder which  is now upgraded to a 2 . 7 million dots ( good news for those who want to shoot video or photos with it ) , there is also an improved Vari - angle LCD unit which has a 1 . 2million Dot resolution   . Panasonic GH5s - Panasonic's new Low light monster

via - Panasonic CES 2018 press kit Panasonic is basically on a roll with their Lumix Mirrorless cameras . The newly Announced G9 - a photo centric version of the highly praised GH5 pushed the envelope for Micro 4/3 by bringing both a highly capable photo and video option to go toe to toe with it’s larger sensor peers , but apparently Panasonic is still not done with the GH5 chassis yet , so after a few leaks and some blurred photographs , the GH5s - Panasonic’s low light video centric camera is finally official . The GH5s at first glance looks just like its standard (GH5) brother , the chassis has a few minor tweaks including the red ring (from the G9) and the Red letter S plus a large red record button indicating that this is for solely for “video work” . The rest of the chassis specs (Dual SD card slots , USB C , the same dust ,splash and freezeproof sealing.) includes the same Vari-angle touch screen , the same mode dial and the same 3.68million dot OLED viewfinder with ...

Panasonic GH5s - Is Panasonic working on a low light monster ?

Panasonic is on a roll with its Micro Four thirds cameras recently . The GH5 , launched as their flagship mirrorless camera quickly became the darling of video shooters all over the world . But Panasonic ,who decided to cash in on the GH5's success ,launched the photo oriented LUMIX G9 last month . But with competition increasing - especially from Sony's Alpha division , the company is now rumored to announce one more hit this year - the rumored GH5s. The GH5s , another camera based on the GH5 chassis , is rumored to be the first micro four thirds camera designed for extreme low light . not much is known about the camera body, but it is said to feature Panasonic's new signature red ring on the mode dial to set it apart from the regular GH5 ( apparently 43rumors published an article with a photo of what a...

Panasonic G9 to be announced at a special event on the 6th and 8th of November

Panasonic really hit a home run with their GH5 ,  the camera , praised highly for its video capabilities and ergonomics has so far received positive reviews from customers and reviewers alike . Although the GH5 was set up from day 1 to shoot high quality video on its Micro 4/3 sensor , the camera is still quite a capable device in capturing stills, and this , combined with the launch of several high resolution stills cameras from rival manufacturers,  prompted Panasonic to respond in kind with the not yet announced - Panasonic G9 ! - A Micro 4/3 camera set up as a high resolution stills camera . Details about the Panasonic G9 surfaced on several websites during the past week , although the full specs were not leaked  , the info that did does point to a camera that is probably class leading as it combines some of the best features from the GH5 and the EM1 ii into a body that is said to be "professional" in every way (Rumors also say that the camera will have a top moun...
