T Mobile REVVL V+ 5G - America's most affordable 5G smartphone

American service provider T mobile has announced a new affordable 5G smartphone model named the REVVL V+ 5G. The handset powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device, which has a 6.82" HD+ display also features a v shaped notch which houses a 16MP sensor up front. The rear cameras are 16MP main and 5MP depth and 2MP macro. The handset features a 5000 mAh battery and has 18W fast charging as well and comes with Android 11. Pricing for the unit is said to be $199 or on contract at $8.34 Per month. T- mobile's Alcatel POP 7 LTE is a $129 tablet with Android 6.0 out of the box

Alcatel has unveiled a affordable 7" tablet with Android 6.0 for the U.S carrier T- Mobile . The tablet , priced at $0 on contract at $5.5 monthly or $129 off contract features a 7" 1024×768 resolution LCD display  , a 1.1 Ghz Snapdragon 210 Soc , 1GB of RAM , 8GB Storage and MicroSD card support .The tablet features a 5MP rear camera 2MP front camera and supports 4G LTE . The tablet features a 3240mAh battery and doze battery enhancements found in Android 6.0 marshmallow. Source - tmonews .

Android turns 5 along with the HTC G1

Five years ago today, Google and T-Mobile took the stage at a press event in NYC to unveil the T-Mobile G1 (made by HTC) as the first device to run Android. As you all know now, Android is the number 1 mobile operating system in the game across the globe, and it’s not really even close at this point. But to think in 2008 that the original G1 would be the starting point to what we have now, is almost unimaginable. Certainly, there were those who had the vision to see its eventual power, but boy have we come a long way. In a post to his G+ account, T-Mobile Sr. product manager Des Smith talks about the G1 launch, the weeks leading up to its unveiling, testing prototypes the night before, and eventually participating in the press event that included the recently-departed Andy Rubin on stage, along with a surprise appearance by Sergey Brin and Larry Page on rollerblades.
