Nexus 5 , 7 and 10 removed from Google's Playstore

If you were planning to buy a Nexus 5 ,7 or a Nexus 10 , sorry ,it looks like  those devices just left the building , The Nexus 5 , launched last year as a vehicle for promoting Android 4.4 Kitkat was one of the best smartphones until recent times , the phone was originally sold at $349 and it was a good purchase considering that the phone was based on the LG G2 . The Asus made Nexus 7 2013 edition has also been given the boot ,but considering that the tablet , which was slowly getting "too small" in the wake of mega size smartphones , the drop was expected , but sadly , the large screened Nexus 10 , which at the time was one of the most powerful devices thanks to its (fast by 2012 standards) Dual Core A15 Eagle processor and 2560x1440 resolution 10" display is also going down in favor of the -One Size fits all - Nexus 9. The devices , although they are dropped from Google's inventory , they will receive Android L when it is released for general consumption . The u...

Nexus 6 against a iPhone 6 Plus  Many of us Android fans are waiting for the launch of the new Nexus Devices along with Android L today , the new Nexus devices - Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are said to be the new torch bearers to the new Android L operating system which brings in major design and structure overhauls to the Android operating system with its Material design language , cleaner transitions and new scaling methods for app developers  . Motorola's Nexus 6 (which might even be called the Nexus X due to copyright problems with using the term "Nexus 6" as a novel writer owns the term) is ...

@evleaks strikes again - Nexus 6 render leaks out

What a depressing few days. I remember 1 thing that used to make me feel better, tho. No mark in deference to Nexus. pic.twitter.com/76zhSfu8rJ — Evan Blass (@evleaks) October 14, 2014 A few hours ago , Android ads depicting the alleged Motorola Shamu (Nexus 6) surfaced, but now , our old friend Evleaks uploaded a alleged press render of the Motorola Nexus device which shows us what the device will look like (when it will hopefully be unveiled tomorrow alongside the Nexus 9) . A quick recap on the Motorola Nexus 6 shows us that the phone is not for everyone as the screen is a humongous 5.92" , the phone has a screen resolution of 2560x1440 and it has a  2.5-2.7Ghz Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM , a 13MP rear camera and a mega 3200mAh battery with Android L , the phone along with the Nexus 9 and Android Wear 2.0 will most probably unveiled tomorrow Written by Rakitha for MasHD Source - Reddit

Nexus 9 ..what we know so far

Most of us expected the upcoming HTC Nexus 9 to carry some top tier specs and a design that matches the HTC One M8 , although we can expect the mindblowing top- tier 64bit Tegra K1 processor and a gorgeous 2K resolution display in the HTC made tablet ,the same cant be said about the design as a  photo leak from our source at UpLeaks shows us that the Nexus 9 will grow up to be just like the Nexii before it and have a matte plastic backplate instead of the expected metal background . A quick recap of the specs shows us that the upcoming Nexus 9 is probably the "One" tablet to replace the 10 inch and 7 inch Nexus tablets in Google's arsenal . The tablet is rumored to pack the dual core version of the Tegra K1 processor ,which has already beaten all mainstream mobile cpu's out of the water thanks to its 64bit architecture . The tablet is rumored to pack atleast 2-3 GB of ram , a 8.9"  2K display with a 4.3 aspect ratio and a 8mp rear camera with LED flash as well ...

Motorola Moto X and Moto G will receive Android L update once its out

via TrustedReviews Android L is the biggest change to the Android platform since 4.0 ICS in 2011. The platform design has relatively been the similar with the usual Holo theme , and set iconography ,but Android L is said to change all that with the Material design which is Android's latest layout pattern . The date for Android L's official launch is not confirmed as of yet , but we can expect to see it come out in around September . A executive from  Motorola meanwhile has spilled the beans on their update schedule explaining that Android L will be avilable for the Motorola Moto X and Moto G which are currently top selling phones from the once Google owned company . The company recently anounced the Moto G 4G edition , and this , along with the Google Play editions , dual sim and single GSM models and the rare Ferrari edition will all rumored to receive the update along with Motorola's current flagship Moto X . Google I/O 2014 - Next version of Android gets demo'ed , Comes with name Android L

Google demoed a developer preview of the upcoming Android "L" project aka Lollipop at Google IO  2014 . The update is the biggest change since the holo theme used since Android 4.0 ICS back in 2011 and it features major changes in the way the platform performs and scales to multiple devices which include Smartphones , Tablets ,Smartwatches ,In Car entertainment systems and Home Entertainment systems . First off , we have Android's new design language called "Material design" - this is Android's replacement to the Holo theme used from Android 4.0 to 4.1 . The new UI uses a card type Interface with flat surfaces with variable 3D shadow effects which are rendered real time . the theme is easily scalable for smartphones and tablets so developers can easily use the set designs to make quality apps for the platform . Android L says Bye bye to Dalvik officially , and is now replaced by ART which supports faster transitions at around 60fps . Android...
