Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor. The event, held on the 18th of October as a recorded session displayed the key features of the iPads with the most significant being the base model iPad which has now received an upgrade. iPad 2022 This model of the base model iPad ditches the almost 12 year old home button and display layout and goes for a cleaner display only design found on the iPad Air . The chassis, which now comes with flatter sides and a TouchID fingerprint sensor on the top has also abandoned the lightning port in favor of USB C and it also comes with a set of pogo style connectors for accessories including a keyboard with trackpad.  Internally, the iPad comes either as a Wifi only (Wifi6) and a 5G cellular model and is offered with 64 or 256GB of storage. Another day - another Apple leak(allegedly), and this time its the iPad mini 6. The new upcoming iPad mini 6, according to FTP's Jon Prosser, is said to bring the fabled "mini tablet" into the current design language as it features a front buttonless design with a design similar to the current iPad Air and Pro models and is said to feature USB - C instead of lightning. But instead of ditching the touch ID sensor, it is said to make an appearance in the power button (a la iPad Air) and like the previous model is said to feature support for the Apple Pencil 1 and this time the Pencil 2 as well (Possibly Apple Pencil 3?) Apple announces iOS 15  Apple's next major OS upgrade was announced at WWDC, the new update - which is still in beta form will be shipping to current iOS devices later this year, but for now let's look at some features of the upcoming update-  Notifications - Notifications have been updated with a new priority and summary stack view. Apple is also said to announce a new feature called Focus which will allocate every task according to set filters (eg - morning routine etc) and will intelligently stack them accordingly.  Apple is also set to announce a a live text feature in the camera to enhance text in photos and scanned documents.  Another feature is the addition of spatial audio for facetime, and groups for Facetime, and Facetime is now said to be available for Android and Windows devices - but it will be open through a web portal rather than an app  Quick-share Apple TV and Music links and play at the same time are also said to be coming to iOS15  Other ...
