Vizio has introduced a new line of smart TV's which will make you use your tablet less . The new P series , built with Chromecast support gives you the option to use the UHD tv's companion Vizio Android powered Tablet accessory as a remote to cast your favorite content on the big screen . The TV , unlike most rival products does not feature Android TV OS but it makes up for it by adding strezming and web content  via Google's Chromecast system built into the Tv . Sony has just announced three new Android TV's at CES 2016 , the three models XBR - X850D  , XBR - X930D and XBR - X340D  run Android ( Googles modified version of Android for SmartTV's )  .All TV's are equipped with 4K  UHD displays and they are also HDR enabled . The Tv's also have the ability to stream web content directly and they are google cast enabled so you can stream content directly from a smartphone or tablet right to your TV via wifi . All new Sony 4K TV's come with Sony's in house Sony X1 4K processor for handling 4K content and running Android TV . Pricing is not available at the moment , but it will be available soon as Sony plans to launch their TV in the first half of this year . Nvidia's Shield console originally came with 16GB for a price of $199 . Although a Android TV console rarely goes beyond this storage capacity , existence of a 500GB Nvidia shield console leaked out on Amazon last week , and in a swift move , all traces were pulled down . Today news of the console has come back in the form of a acknowledgement by Nvidia employee ManuelG . The console - which originally cost $199 will have a 500GB option for a $100 more and it is expected to go live this month (end of the month more like it) along with the Andorid 5.1 update for the Shield tablet . Nvidia is really stepping up its game in the mobile market , after launching the original Shield portable ,and  the successful Shield Tablet , Nvidia is now focusing on the console segment with their new Nvidia Shield - console . The set top box - which is said to pack Nvidia's latest and greatest mobile chipset - The Tegra X1 is said to run Android TV - a special version of Android made specifically for consoles .but unlike the Nexus player , the Shield console will focus on cloud gaming . Google's I/O events are something to really look out for , the event - which showcases everything from Android , Chrome , search related topics and sometimes new devices is said to take place on two days (28 and 29th) of May . Google hasn't gone to the extent of describing what will be shown off at this event , but we can expect to see some revelation about the new Android 5.1 update and a possible (hardware/software) refresh to Google's Android wear platform .Registrations for the event will start on the 17th of March at 9AM Pacific Time ,and a final lottery system (similar to the one used at Google IO 2014 ) will then decide on who will get to attend the event .
