Xiaomi Announces Redmi G gaming laptop

Xiaomi has unveiled its Redmi G  gaming laptop for the masses - the new Redmi G 2021  - powered by Intel Core and AMD’s Ryzen chipsets. The laptop comes with two flavors - An Intel Core i5 - 11260H chipset with a RTX 3050  and a 130W charger or An AMD Ryzen 5800H with a RTX 3060 GPU which comes with a beefier 230W charger. Apart from these differences, the chassis remains the same for both models and thus you can expect it to come with a 16.1” LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate and the chassis also has a DTS-X Ultra 3D audio speaker and backlit mechanical keyboard.  The base model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage and you may be able to upgrade these (fingers crossed). Pricing starts at CNY 5700 ($880 for the Intel variant) and CNY 7000 ($1080 for the Ryzen model). The laptops will go on sale in China first and will be launched elsewhere later on. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G announced in China

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has announced their latest Note 10 series of handsets today. The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for the Chinese market feature "better specifications" than their global brethren sans the AMOLED displays.  The Note 10 Pro 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset with 6/8GB ram and 128/256GB of storage (UFS3.1). The display of the phone measures at 6.6" 120 hz and has a FHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The cameras on the model features 64MP main, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro and has a 16MP punch-hole front sensor.The battery of the phone is 5000 mAh and has 67W fast charging.The model comes with Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 * 6GB + 128GB – ¥1,599 ($250) * 8GB + 128GB – ¥1,799 ($281)  * 8GB + 256GB – ¥1,999 ($313) Source - Gizmochina

Redmi Note 8 Receives a refresh for 2021

Xiaomi has been on a roll when it comes to launching new products, but sometimes the old models seem to be more popular than their current ones, so Xiaomi's Redmi sub-brand has decided to re-launch its best selling smartphone as the Redmi Note 8 2021. The handset, first launched as the Redmi 8 (2019), packed decent mid-range specifications for an affordable price, much so that 25 million units were sold and Xiaomi hopes to cater to that market by essentially repackaging new internals into a an already existing design - so the splash resistance, the notch and the 6.3" 2340x1080 resolution display remain unchanged with the new hardware specs being a Mediatek Hello G85 Chipset with 4GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB storage , a 4 sensor camera array (48MP main,8MP ultra wide,2mp depth and 2mp macro, a 13MP front sensor and a 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging being the specs available for the new model. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G announced at a affordable $162 price

Xiaomi , which is the 5th largest handset manufacturer and the largest OEM in China has been receiving a lot of positive press and huge sales thanks to some really awesome handsets like the Xiaomi Mi-3 and the Tegra K1 powered Mi-Pad , but now the company has upgraded one of their affordable mid-tier handsets with a 4G modem , and this handset is the somewhat popular Xiaomi Redmi-note . The Redmi note , which was originally launched as a mid range dual sim android handset back in March was quite popular inits home turf - China and now the company hopes to expand its popularity by launching a 4G version in other countries at the same affordable $162 price . Although the chassis of the Redmi note 4G looks similar to the 3G model , the internals are vastly different and superior to its 3G counterpart. Xiaomi Redmi Note will be available in international markets starting at $129

As expected , the Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphone is official . The phone , or shall we say phablet , is quite a decent device for a small price .The Redmi will come in two variants , with the cheaper one packing a Octa-Core 1.4 Ghz chipset and 1GB Ram and the higher end version packing a 1.7 Ghz Octa-Core chipset with 2GB of RAM.The 1.4 Ghz and the 1.7GHz chipsets are of the Metdiatek MTK6592 Octa-Core variant , so nothing to complain much here . Both phones will pack a 5.5" IPS diaplay of the 720p variant and they will have Xiaomi's own MIUI interface with Android . The phone will have a 13MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies . Both models will also pack a 3200 mAh battery which will surely put a smile on all battery-life fans . Xiaomi's Redmi Note is ready for a March 19th launch

This leaked photo shows the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note , The upcoming smartphone , -much like the phablets we have now , follows the usual trend of Man-Purse friendly dimensions with its 5.5" display . Although it sits in a rather expensive smartphone group ,the Xiaomi Redmi Note will only cost somewhere between $110- $250 unlocked . Armed with a 1.2Ghz Mediatek octacore chip and 4G LTE , this phone might actually bring the company some global recognition if they decide to sell it outside China .
