DJI has announced their latest revolutionary product - the DJI Ronin 4D. The camera - which looks like a mid size cinema camera with a OSMO gimbal stuck on it, is basically as described - a Cinema camera with a Gimbal. The camera which has a cubical body with various controls and ports for mounting a battery - a top handle, input sources and handle grips - including a manual focus pulling grip which can be slid in from the side is basically all mostly metal while the gimbal is carbon fiber. The camera also support a wireless supported focus pulling system for lenses without AF. The main attraction of the camera is the gimbal and the camera pod. The system, which boasts 4 axis stabilization also has the power to support lenses from DJI's DL mount - 24-35-50mm as well as a plethora of Sony E mount lenses from basic wide-angle lenses all the way to 24-70 lenses and Anamorphic lenses as well (~1kg), these lenses require you to disconnect the lens mount and swap the stock DL mount to a ...

DJI has officially announced the RONIN S - a handheld gimbal designed to take on similar systems from Zhyiun and Feiyu and many others . The gimbal , designed with large Mirrorless and DSLR cameras in mind (example 5Dmk4 / A7 series cameras) uses brushless motors to stabilize any device connected to DJI’S cradle mounting plate . The gimbal , equipped with an axis lock to stop the gimbal from rattling around during setup . The companion Ronin app , designed to give users the ability to set up pre positioned camera movements , calibrate axis movement and control aspects of the gimbal without turning the system off , also included with the system is a joystick for manual control and the gimbal is also ready for external attachments such as a follow focus system if need be .
