HTC upcoming One M9 might come with a 1080p display , Butterfly 3 might have a QHD one instead

With the launch of the HTC One M9 just around the corner , the phone - which we originally thought of as a QHD (2K) smartphone is now rumored to have that display resolution changed to a lower 1080p in order to give it a better battery life and more power . Although the phone will have a Snapdragon 810 , 3GB of Ram , a 20 mp rear sensor , the power and battery juice needed to push extra pixels will be saved if the said phone has a lower resolution . HTC Butterfly 2

HTC has unveiled a new addition to its Butterfly family of high end Android smartphones , The HTC Butterfly 2 , which was also known as the Butterfly J in Japan features some features of the HTC One series with a  charm design made out of plastic . The HTC Butterfly 2 features a different dual camera Ultrapixel system with 2 sensors for depth perception with the main camera being of the 13MP type and the camera on top being a standard 4mp unit along with Dual LED flash .The front camera of the phone is said to be of 5mp quality,The phone has a 2,5Ghz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM , 16GB of storage with MicroSD card slot ,LTE and other knickknacks like NFC , 1080p video recording . The front facing boomsound speakers have been enhanced with  a Harman Kardon LiveStage signal amplifier for better audio quality . HTC Butterfly S pictured

HTC is readying an updated version of its Butterfly smartphone, with the HTC Butterfly S already caught in the wild complete with BoomSound speakers as on the HTC One. The new model, spotted by VR-Zone in China, is expected to be roughly the same size as its predecessor, which was HTC’s first device with a 1080p display, in this case measuring in at 5-inches However, whereas the original Butterfly had a speaker on the rear of the casing, this new Butterfly S removes that and switches instead to stereo speakers on the front of the phone. HTC debuted that approach on the One, dubbing the system BoomSound and using specially wide-range drivers and amplification to reduce distortion at high and low frequencies, as well as at high volume.
