Phantom V2640 super slow motion camera announced

Vision research has announced the new Phantom V2640 super slow motion camera . The camera , designed around a custom 27.6 mm x 26.3 mm CMOS sensor with 4MP spread out with a 13.5 µm pixel size allows this camera to record an insane 6600 fps in 2048x1952(2k) or 11750 fps in 1080p . This camera , which is capable of hitting a maximum of 303,460fps in 1792x8 in its lowest possible recording format is ideal for scientific applications (Which is the main target audience of Vision Research) and therefore the camera delivers a whopping 26 Gpx/second output speed which requires specialized recording systems such as the Phantom CineMag IV storage system with 1TB and 2TB storage options .The camera features RAM storage options of 72GB , 144GB and 288GB on-board .The camera , designed around the Nikon F mount , supports manual lenses ,but there is however an option for two other lens mounts (Canon EF and C mount) if you wish . Vision Research announces Phantom VEO 4KPL and VEO 4K 590L/S super slow motion cameras

4K PL (left) 560/S(right) Vision research has unveiled two 4K capable super-slow motion cameras for their VEO series of Gimbal/smaller rig cameras . The series , which sits beside the larger Flex series , brings RAW  recording with 1000fps for the VEO 4K PL series and 500 fps for the VEO 4K-560L/S versions Phantom VEO 4K VEO4K-L models are designed for software-based operation with two programmable I/O ports and simplified connections. VEO4K-S models include additional I/O ports, on-camera controls, compatibility with CFast recording media and a secondary battery input. VEO4K-PL models include everything in the S-model, with the addition of an optical low pass filter, standard PL-mount and a black cinema-style housing.
