Maingear's gaming laptops get GTX980m and GTX970m graphic upgrades

Maingear has upgraded their current gaming laptop aresnal with Nvidia's GTX980m and GTX970m mobile graphics . The new Mawell based GPU's , which offer 1536 CUDA cores on the GTX980m version and 1280 CUDA cores on the GTX970m are both mobile versions of the their desktop variants minus a few cores .The Maingear Nomad 17 , which is their flagship gaming laptop comes with the GTX980m kit while the Nomad 15 , Pulse 17 and Pulse 15 has the GTX970m option .The Maingear Nomad 17 with GTX980m version costs $2399 and the cheapest option with the 970m costs $2099 . Other laptops from Maingear running the GTX970m will cost more than $2000 which means that this is not the best budget purchase of the year , if you are budget conscious , check out the new Digital Storm gaming laptops  instead.
