Nokia has launched three new Windows 11 based devices - Nokia Purebook Fold, Purebook Lite. and Purebook Pro. The 14.1"  fold and lite series of notebooks come with Intel N6000 Pentium silver chipsets while the 15.6" and 17.3"  Pro series has a Core i3 1220P series of chipset (12th gen) and all three come with 1920x1080 IPS panels with 60hz refresh rate and the fold's display is touch enabled.  All models come with 2 x USB-C, 1 x USB-A, audio jack 3.5mm and come with 512GB SSD storage for the pro and 128GB SSD for fold and lite. Xiaomi has unveiled its Redmi G  gaming laptop for the masses - the new Redmi G 2021  - powered by Intel Core and AMD’s Ryzen chipsets. The laptop comes with two flavors - An Intel Core i5 - 11260H chipset with a RTX 3050  and a 130W charger or An AMD Ryzen 5800H with a RTX 3060 GPU which comes with a beefier 230W charger. Apart from these differences, the chassis remains the same for both models and thus you can expect it to come with a 16.1” LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate and the chassis also has a DTS-X Ultra 3D audio speaker and backlit mechanical keyboard.  The base model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage and you may be able to upgrade these (fingers crossed). Pricing starts at CNY 5700 ($880 for the Intel variant) and CNY 7000 ($1080 for the Ryzen model). The laptops will go on sale in China first and will be launched elsewhere later on. Apple has officially set their entire MacBook lineup to the new 7th generation Kaby Lake format today . AMD unveiled three laptop class processors today. The three processors which are coded-  A8 , A10 and FX are a part of AMD's Carrizo -A line of efficient yet powerful chip sets designed for mobile computing on the go . The chips , designed on a 28nm fabrication has 12 cores inside - 4 of them are based on AMD's Excavator architecture while the other 8 are GPU cores based on the 3rd Gen Graphics Core next ones. The module , even though it is based for low power consumption can still give enough GPU power to match the A10 Kaveri Desktop platform in GPU performance @15W (in the case of the high end A10 Carrizo that is ) The GPU supports Direct X 12 . Asus has launched 3 new convertible Windows 8.1 tablets at CES 2015 . The new T90 , T100 and the T300 are the latest Intel based devices in the ASUS "CHI" line of products . Buying a 11.6" Windows 8.1 hybrid laptop might cost you a arm or a leg these days , the price of such devices might be one reason for such products to fail , but Toshiba has got it right with their new Satellite Radius 11 . Maingear has upgraded their current gaming laptop aresnal with Nvidia's GTX980m and GTX970m mobile graphics . The new Mawell based GPU's , which offer 1536 CUDA cores on the GTX980m version and 1280 CUDA cores on the GTX970m are both mobile versions of the their desktop variants minus a few cores .The Maingear Nomad 17 , which is their flagship gaming laptop comes with the GTX980m kit while the Nomad 15 , Pulse 17 and Pulse 15 has the GTX970m option .The Maingear Nomad 17 with GTX980m version costs $2399 and the cheapest option with the 970m costs $2099 . Other laptops from Maingear running the GTX970m will cost more than $2000 which means that this is not the best budget purchase of the year , if you are budget conscious , check out the new Digital Storm gaming laptops  instead. Acer's has unveiled two new gaming laptops in its V Nitro series . The two laptops , which come in two different screen sizes - 15" (V15) and 17" (V17) are both set to launch before December with the V15 set for launch this month and the V17 set for launch in late November . The laptops ,which Acer pushes out as their champion to the somewhat crowded high end laptop space features a low price tag than its rivals .
