Sharp has announced their latest trend setting smartphone - The Aquos R6. The phone, said to feature the world's first 1" Sensor in a smartphone raises the bar when it comes to sheer numbers in terms of photography as the sensor size is usually reserved to small compact point and shoot cameras (such as the Sony RX100 series). This jump however does mean the smartphone has to be large at 6.6" and carry a decent amount of hardware to match the raw numbers it has on the camera. Apart from the Leica tuned f1.9 20mp sensor, the phone features a Time of flight (ToF) sensor as well as a 12.6 MP selfie camera and a Qualcomm 3d Sonic Max in-display fingerprint reader. The device - powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset has 12 GB of Ram, 128 GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot as well and the device also sports a 3.5mm audio jack as well.The device runs on Android 11 out of the box. Sharp has officially announced their 8C-B60A broadcast capable 8K camera . The camera , which is designed with a custom 33MP Super 35mm sensor is capable of 60fps (10bit - 4.2.2) is capable of recording uncompressed 8K 60fps to SSD drives and even has a SD card to update firmware with , the camera features the Grass Valley HQX Codec (7680×4320 4:2:2 10-bit). The body features built in ND - Clear, 1/4ND, 1/16ND, 1/64ND , a PL mount to adapt lenses to , a 2TB SSD bundle (which allows upto 40 minutes of recording ) and a price tag of 8,800,000 YEN - $ 77495 .
