There’s just one day left until the Nokia X is shown to the world, and Nokia is letting the world know. How? With the latest in their Green Duck teaser series which has been popping up on Vine. In the newest video, we see the line of ducks all speeding down a river. Where are they headed? The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where Nokia’s first Android-powered smartphone, the X, will debut. All of our questions will be answered tomorrow, so stay tuned. Nokia continues the green duck teasing of their X Android smartphone. This time, we see a wall of cell phones barely able to hold back a flood. It’s worth noting that the X will not be a top-tier Android device: it will retail for under $115, according to the leak. The interface of the X hardly seems like Android, it looks more like a Windows Phone device, so even if Nokia is experimenting with a new mobile OS, it looks as if they are trying to keep a consistent feel for their users. Expect the full reveal to occur during Mobile World Congress, which starts on February 24th in Barcelona. Samsung has released a promo video for the Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona next Monday. An emotional montage of cool images and text sets the scene, and mood, for the Galaxy S5′s arrival. Speed, fit, courage, social, selfies are just some of the buzzwords to give the fans a taste of what to expect from the flagship. Check out the video below. Rumors about Samsung’s next flagship suggest 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 800 or 805 chipset, with a quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 2.5 GHz, 16 or 21 MP camera, 5.25″ QHD (2560 x 1440) display. Part 2 of Nokia’s #GreenDuck teasers is out and the paddling of ducks hits an obstacle – a dam of discarded phones (there’s a traffic light there too, for some unknown reason). Nokia also put up a Green Duck page on its web site. The page just lists the two teaser vines but its design is more interesting – it looks just like the custom interface on the Nokia X A110 in the spy shots from earlier today. What’s with this teaser campaign anyway? First monkeys and pirate maps, then aliens and puppies and then there’s the ducks. The dam of discarded phones and constant emphasis on “green” does make us think of Nokia’s recycling efforts. GSMArena

Nokia’s Vine account joined in on the teasing of Nokia’s upcoming Mobile World Congress event. After yesterday’s teaser images from Weibo , today’s vine isn’t all that revealing but it uses the characteristic green that has become associated with the Nokia X A110 (Normandy). Yesterday it was monkeys, today ducks. Where’s Nokia going with all the cartoony animals? HTC will look to wearables and a new tablet in order to try to reclaim market share, the company has teased, promising “something nice and disruptive” for its new slate. The company has been slow to capitalize on recent attention in either segment, though according to CEO Peter Chou that’s because many such devices – particularly smartwatches – have been more gimmicks than anything else, the Financial Times reports. “It has to meet a need, otherwise if it’s just a gimmick or concept, it’s not for people’s day-to-day lives” Chou said, describing the wearables market as “still too early” and some of the existing products from HTC’s rivals – presumably including Samsung’s Galaxy Gear and Kickstarter-success Pebble – “version one”. However, Chou argues, that leaves a space HTC could step into. “That is an opportunity for us,” he suggested. “People laughed at us when we came out with the first smartphone … Now everyone has a smartphone. Nokia has just announced via its Twitter feed that it's preparing for an announcement event on October 22. While the Finns haven't specified neither a place for the event, nor what they'll be announcing there, we are all anticipating the star of the show to be the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet that has been making the rounds this past month. As you can see, Nokia's image teaser is quite intriguing as well, with skiers dressed for snow skiing but instead sloping down a sandy desert dune, which is kind of bizarre and mutually exclusive. Nevertheless, Nokia is promising to "reinvent innovation", which sounds exciting. The innovation in question that Nokia is probably hinting at is the Lumia 1520 phablet, codenamed "Bandit". The Lumia 1520 is rumored to have a 6-inch 1080p screen, presenting a substantial development, with both being firsts in the Windows Phone ecosystem. You’ve got to hand it to Asus: their precocity brought quality to an Android tablet market previously relegated to cheap, underpowered, plastic nastiness. Though the company is perhaps best known for the Nexus 7, the Google-branded budget tablet, its first blockbuster brand catered almost exclusively to spec enthusiasts, packing then high-end internals into a 10-inch form factor. Despite quality control issues, they proved a favorite of Googlers and bleeding edge tech adopters alike. It comes as no surprise, then, that Asus released follow-up devices to continue to fill that profitable niche, most recently the Transformer Pad TF300 and Transformer Pad Infinity. Remember when HTC decided to add its own contributions to the One Mini rumor mill by using its own infographic? It seems the Taiwan-based company is following the same trend with the HTC One Max, a device that we've heard about for what seems like months. On its official Twitter account, it posted a teaser in the form of a six-second Vine, three simple words and a hashtag: "big things ahead. #HTChange." Just a few minutes ago, it seems someone over at the official HTC blog pulled the trigger on an HTC One Mini teaser campaign a bit early. A post titled "Little Things That Pack a BIG Punch" was live for a few moments, only to quickly disappear. It was a pretty obvious hint at the upcoming HTC One Mini, which is perhaps best-known at this point as HTC's worst-kept secret. The post didn't detail specifications, or even specifically name the HTC One Mini, but the intent was plainly to tease the upcoming device. A week before its scheduled announcement, the previously tipped Samsung Galaxy NX appeared in press and live images. The photos confirm that Samsung is about to release a mirrorless camera which boots Android – right in line with what Samsung’s CEO JK Shin told the press today. As you can see in the image above, the yet to be revealed Samsung Galaxy NX is way different from the Galaxy S4 Zoom. In terms of design, the Galaxy NX closely resembles the Samsung NX 20 – the DSLR styled member of the manufacturer’s line of enthusiast cameras. The Samsung Galaxy NX is rumored to feature a 20.3MP APS-C sensor with support for ISO up to 25,600, and 1080p video capture. The touchscreen on the back of the camera is tipped to be a 4.3″ unit. The Galaxy NX is expected to boot Android 4.2.2 when released. As a member of the NX family, the Samsung Galaxy NX will support the manufacturer’s range of compatible lenses. We saw a couple images surface on June 6 of a device said to be the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, a 6.4-inch phablet previously known as the Sony Togari. While both the images certainly look like they could be the handset, neither are official, unlike the one that surfaced today. In a Sony event invitation, the Xperia Z Ultra is shown in profile, revealing a very slim body. Below you can see a portion of the Xperia Z Ultra that is the real deal, however, featured from the side in a French Sony Mobile invitation to an event on July 4. In case you didn’t do so well in French class, here’s a translation: “Sony Mobile reservers a big surprise for you,” with the second sentence reading, “Don’t forget to mark your calendars!” Of course, the second sentence is written with a stylus, which is likely a coy way of confirming the rumors that the huge smartphone will have a stylus for drawing and handwriting and such. As Computex approaches, so too do the teasers for devices like this action-figure representation of a device ASUS will be showing off. Here the proof is in the pudding as the letters N6-TE tie in with ASUS common past and the Android toy itself. It begins with the letter N and the toy has the most easily recognizable representation of a pen – this means the device will have a “note” functionality and more than likely a capacitive pen built-in. As the ASUS FonePad we saw earlier this year  worked with a Nexus 7 form factor and the ability to make telephone calls appeared, so did ASUS’ willingness to make said calls on multiple devices. This new N6 machine shows its ability to work as a telephone with the Android toy’s right arm – again, in as obvious a manner as possible showing that it works as a phone. Motorola‘s big vision for mobile isn’t just the Moto X smartphone: the company also has wearable, tattoo-embedded, and even swallowable gadgets in the pipeline. Motorola’s Advanced Technology and Projects Group chief Regina Dugan – former DARPA chief – showed up at D11 sporting an electronic tattoo that could be worn on the skin for a week at a time, and used to cut through the numerous authentication processes we go through every day. The tattoos rely on a new, stretchable electronics system that can keep working even as it flexes on the wearer’s arm. As Dugan says, while criticisms of wearables like smartwatches include suggestions that young people won’t want to wear them – something Tim Cook commented on – it’s much more likely that the demographic would want to use a digital tattoo. After countless leaks and speculation the folks from Google and LG finally made the white LG Nexus 4 official. It’s the same Nexus we know and love, with a nice new paint job. After plenty of talk at Google I/O about a white model with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean getting announced we were excited, but it’s still just on 4.2.2, for now at least This morning Google announced the White Nexus 4, and we should be seeing it hit the Play Store with a brand new matching white bumper case starting tomorrow, May 29th. The next wave of Samsung devices is washing in as a London event announced earlier today clues the public in, miniature photo style. The Samsung Galaxy Note III will quite likely be up for announcement as it’s been appearing in benchmarks here and there and has historically appeared not long after a Galaxy smartphone hero device in the past. Computex is slowly creeping up on us, as it starts toward the beginning of next month, and ASUS appears to be going all out with new products at the event, constantly teasing new hardware that the company has up its sleeves. This time around, we’re not sure exactly what they’re teasing, but they note how the new product will “move you.” The image teaser that ASUS posted on their Google+ page is a close up of what is probably the new device that they’ll be releasing at Computex this year. From the looks of it, it appears to be made of brushed aluminum like many of their current devices, and sports a circular shape of some kind.
