Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 will pack 64bit Exynos chip , no MicroSD card slot

Samsung was once praised for keeping removable batteries and MicroSD card slots on flagship devices in a age where they were replaced with non removable batteries and cloud storage but since the start of the year , all that basically went out of the door .The new Galaxy S6 ,S6 active and the S6 edge were some of the first devices to break the tradition but according to new leaks the upcoming device is also said to break the tradition . The Samsung Galaxy Note series is Samsung's flagship phablet device aimed at power users who loved the S-Pen stylus and the ability to basically swap batteries on the go , but as things go this may no longer be a option but there is some good news as the device is said to come with a base 32GB option , a 16MP Sony IMX240 sensor and a 2K resolution 5.66" SAMOLED display along with a Exynos 7420 or 7422 chip+ 4GB RAM . evleaks to give up on his leaking business , indiegogo campaign set up to help him

All good things must come to an end. Thank you for an amazing two years. [RETIREMENT] — Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 3, 2014 Most of us tech-savy people have  heard about the famous leak website/twitter account called @evleaks , the leak account , manned by the ex-tech blogger Evan Blass has decided to give up on his quest for leaks after he ran into financial problems due a medical condition ( multiple sclerosis ), Evan , who has been responsible for leaking out smartphones , tablets and their specifications in the form of tweets inspired many other leakers during his two year mission . Although he earns some cash from his dedicated website and sponsored articles , the amount is not sufficient for his medication or to give a better life to his family ,and this is not helped by the fact that many tech-savvy users (majority of his visitors) are using ad-block which further reduces his earnings .  Without a steady income  Evan has decided to quit his mission and f...

Nvidia's next Tegra tablet will feature a Tegra K1 processor , 4G LTE and a high end display

Nvidia launched their Tegra Note reference tablet last year , the tablet featured a stylus , front facing speakers , front and rear cameras and of course , Nvidia's flagship Tegra 4 processor , the tablet was sold at a bargain price of $199 and it was adopted as a reference design by HP,Evga ,Micromax and many other smaller OEM's who wanted a off the shelf product , to which they can add their name to . The tablet however didn't sell that many units , but Nvidia hopes that the introduction of their processors in Tablets will make the chipset popular among tablet manufacturers as they are the only capable mobile CPU maker that can take on the expansion of Qualcomm . Nvidia promotes their chipsets as being  "gaming oriented" and this can be attributed to the fact that Nvidia uses its own CUDA and Kepler mobile GPU's in their mobile devices . With the Tegra 4 ending its life cycle , the flagship baton is passed down to the Nvidia K1 , which at the moment ...

Nokia's first Android Phone - aka Nokia Normandy/Nokia X to feature low specs , low price tag

The Nokia X, a.k.a. Nokia Normandy, has been talked about for some time now. The latest information regarding Nokia's first ever Android smartphone comes again from evleaks, who has provided some of the key specs of the device. One of the leaked specifications is a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Exact SoC is unknown but previous reports had suggested the Snapdragon 200 8225Q, although that is a quad-core chip. The phone will also have 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage memory. Other specs include a 4.0-inch, WVGA (800 x 480) display, 5 megapixel camera, dual-SIM support and a 1,500mAh battery. If there was ever doubt that this is going to be a low-end device, this should take care of it. The Nokia X will have Nokia's own application store on board, just like Amazon has on its Kindle Fire devices but you will also be able to install third party apps by sideloading them. The phone will allegedly be available in six colors. GSMArena

Previously leaked "Normandy" Phone might be Nokia's latest Android related project

Nokia has been building its own Android phone according to multiple sources familiar with the company’s plans. Codenamed Normandy, and known internally at Nokia under a number of other names, the handset is designed as the next step in low-end phones from the Finnish smartphone maker. We understand that Nokia has been testing “Normandy” with a special “forked” variant of Android that’s not aligned with Google’s own version, akin to what Amazon does with its Kindle Fire line. An image of the handset was published in November by @evleaks, showing a Lumia-style device with no apparent capacitive buttons for navigation. We’re told that Normandy supports Android applications like Skype, and other popular top apps. Nokia has been developing the Android-powered phone despite Microsoft’s plans to acquire the company’s handset business. It’s now unclear whether Nokia will release the handset before the Microsoft deal is finalized, or whether Microsoft will continue with the plans for the devi...

Nokia Treasure Tag and Guru NFC player gets @evleaked before the scheduled Nokia event tomorrow

A couple of leaked images delivered by evleaks have shown a few of tomorrow's Nokia announcements including the Lumia 1520 phablet. The handset is joined by a couple of accessories - the Treasure Tag key finder and the Nokia Guru music player. The first leak shows the Nokia Lumia 1520 from a new angle, that lets us get a better idea of the slim profile of the device. Judging from the photo, it's going to be as thin, if not thinner, than the Lumia 1020 cameraphone. Unconfirmed information states the Lumia 1520 will likely feature a 6" display, 20 MP camera and 3,390 mAh battery. The Nokia Lumia 1520 will feature a potent quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and FullHD 1080p display, who gained support for WP8 a couple of days ago with the GDR 3 update. The Nokia Glance Background will also be on board. As far as the accessories go, the Nokia Treasure Tag is a little keychain device which resembles the HTC Fetch you might have seen. Basically, you hook it to your keys and ...

Nokia Asha 502 gets @evleaked

A week after the Nokia Asha 500 emerged, another member of the Finnish manufacturer also made an unscheduled appearance. The Nokia Asha 502 leaked out in a press image, showcasing is attractively designed body in six different colors. Unsurprisingly, the Nokia Asha 502 looks a lot like the Asha 500. The 502 however sports a camera with an LED flash. The Nokia Asha 500 has to do without one. There’s no word on the specs of the Nokia Asha 502. Dual-SIM functionality and Wi-Fi are unsurprisingly present. The Nokia Asha software platform which we experienced in our Asha 501 review also appears to have been refreshed. The Nokia Asha 502 is expected to break cover next month, on October 22 at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi. The event will be quite interesting, as Nokia is expected to unveil six new devices, including a Lumia phablet and Windows RT tablet.(GSMArena)

Nokia's Windows RT tablet to be called Lumia 2520

According to a recent leak, trying to predict an upcoming Nokia product, the tablet which we’ve known so far under the codename Sirius, will apparently be called the Nokia Lumia 2520. Depending on which reports you tend to believe, the Lumia 2520 will land on October 22, together with the Lumia 1520 phablet, or at another date. Nokia has already published some teasers for that day. As far as the specs for the Sirius, now Lumia 2520, are concerned, the slate is expected to run Windows RT and pack a 10.1-inch 1080p screen with a quad-core processor.( PocketNow )

@evleaks outs a official render of the upcoming Second Gen- Kindle Fire HD

The case for an incoming Kindle Fire update seems to be getting stronger every day -- not only have we seen benchmarks and alleged photos of the device , but now @evleaks seems to have come across an official render. The purported press image matches previous leaks in bezel size and design, but lacks the front-facing camera Amazon introduced with the Kindle Fire HD. This leads us to suspect that the render is of a non-HD model of Bezos' latest tablet. The flagship model is rumored to have a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, the aforementioned camera upfront and an OS based on Android 4.2.2. We're still waiting for Amazon to give the official word of course, but for Kindle users waiting for an upgrade, it's something to salivate over. Engadget
