Sony has officially unveiled their new flagship for mid 2017 . The new XZ1 and the XZ1 compact  and the well spec'd Xperia XA1 Plus mid range models bring the latest enhancements from Sony and Android OREO (Android 8) out of the box . Sony Xperia ZX1 & ZX1 compact Design The Sony Xperia ZX1 is Sony's flagship smartphone for 2017 . The new model , which replaces the Xperia Z1s , basically brings a few major upgrades over the predecessor internally . The new phone , which follows Sony's timeless design language since the Xperia Z might not be earth shattering , but the design is practical , and Sony has not skipped on any features this time around either . The only major change however can be seen at the back where the metal backplate now houses a horizontal bar which houses the LED flash and the laser rangefinder for Autofocus .The phone is made out of a metal unibody and has Gorilla Glass 5 up front . Sony has so far built up a solid smartphone portfolio since the arrival of the Xperia Z in 2013 . The new phones , which still continue on the same DNA of waterproof candybar designs has so far evolved into 8 generations(Z ,Z1,Z2,Z3,Z4,Z5,XZ,XZ,XZpremuim and XZs) and is apparently set to be succeeded by the next generation of Sony Smartphones which will be unveiled at IFA 2017 . The rumored phones ,Named - Xperia ZX1 (series) are said to feature 4.6" display and a 5.2" display and a larger edge to edge 6" display will be launched along with some of the latest Snapdragon 835 and 660 series processors . The 4.6" version , which is said to be the successor the Xperia compact lineup (Xperia ZX1 compact?) is said to have a Snapdragon 835 Soc and 4GB of ram , the camera information is not revealed yet , but we guess they will include the 19MP unit from the Xperia XZs which captures 960fps slow motion , if not they will include the 20MP unit from the previous generatio...

Apart from Sony's insanely spec'ed Xperia ZX Premium ,there is also a trio of handsets who went without much of the limelight today .The Xperia ZXs , XA1 and XA1 Ultra and the Xperia Touch projector are probably some of the best Xperia devices to come with the name in recent times . Xperia XZs Design wise , the new Sony ZXs builds on Sony's timeless design process with wrap around Gorilla glass 5 surfaces and IP68 dust and water resistance . This design is also aided by a heat pipe layout found on many modern flagships today . The design also has a side mounter fingerprint sensor and the gorgeous 960 fps video recording feature .Also included are dual S force stereo speakers . Smartphone camera sensors are on a roll in this day and age . Last year - Samsung and Apple and Google (pixel) managed to bring RAW image capture to their devices and most importantly - refinement . With average sensor sizes at 1/25" and dual camera support , the cameras of 2017 will be even better , and now thanks to Sony , the sensor game will now go into a whole new level as they are apparently planning to show off their new sensor in the upcoming Xperia XZ premium smartphone .
