Samsung Exynos 5433 gets renamed to Exynos 7 Octa

Samsung produces its home brew processors under the Exynos family , the latest version - Exynos 5433 technically falls into the Exynos 5 group , but because it is a 64bit processor , and that it is the beating heart of the Asia specific Note 4 , the company has gone about renaming the processor in order to give it more class and so now the Exynos 5433 is renamed as Exynos 7 Octa . The Samsung Exynos 7 octa or previously known as the Exynos 5 (5433) Octa  is a 4+4 core processor that uses the Arm Big-Little design architecture , the 4 main cores are designed after the A57 architecture and the 4 low power ones are 4 Cortex A53 cores , this new architecture helps the phone achieve 57% better throttle response and better overall performance than previous versions of the Exynos Octa . Mediatek unveils the MT6592 , brings 4K with Real-Octa core power to budget smartphones

MediaTek has officially taken wraps of its newest chipset, dubbed MT6592, which is a true octa-core solution for the mobile platform. The MT6592 features an advanced eight-core processor that is said to have a better balance between performance and the power consumption. MediaTek's latest addition is designed to deliver a premium gaming experience, advanced multi-tasking, and enhanced web browsing performance for high-end smartphones and tablets. The chipset is built on the 28nm architecture with each of its eight cores capable of clocking up to 2GHz. The advanced MediaTek scheduling algorithm will monitor the temperature and the power consumption of the SoC to make sure that chip delivers optimum performance. There's a multimedia subsystem with a quad-core graphics engine and a video playback system that supports up to 4K Ultra-HD playphone.
