Mobvoi has announced their latest smartwatch - the Tickwatch E3. The watched, set to target the entry level segment features a 1.3" display and 380 mAh as well as a Qualcomm Wear 4100 Soc and 1GB of RAM + 8GB of storage for apps. Qualcomm has just anounced its new smartwatch oriented system on a chip - the Qualcomm Snapdragon wear 2100 , the processor  , which is said to be 30% smaller than the die of the Snapdragon 400 Soc used in first gen Android wear devices is also said to be more 25% power efficent than the older model . The chip , designed with Smartwatches in mind comes with a clock speed of 1.2Ghz and it has 4 28nm Cortex A7 cores inside with Adreno 304 GPU . The chip also has support for Quick Charge 2.0 ,GPS  NFC and Wifi and Bluetooth as well . The Wear 2100 Soc will come in two varieties , one will feature wifi and bluetooth only while the other will feature cellular bands and support 4G LTE as well .The chip is said to be available in Smartwatches this year and so far LG is said to be working on a Android wear device powered with this Soc . The Moto 360 is probably one of the best Android wear smartwatches you can buy , the watch , which is also the highest selling Android watch has now officially dropped to $165 from a previously fixed price of $249 (Amazon and Walmart dropped the price a day earlier to $179 , but now playstore is offering it for even less) . Say hello to the new Huawei Watch , this gorgeous looking smart timepiece is Huawei's first Android wear device and oh man , what a looker it is . A few days ago , LG launched its premuim Watch Urbane , the Android wear timepiece  , which was a premium version of the G watch R , came in either Gold or Silver colors along with leather straps , pricing for the device was still kept secret , but today , Expansys - a UK online retailer has started to accept pre-orders  with the device listed for GBP 299.99 ( $465 )  . Google's I/O events are something to really look out for , the event - which showcases everything from Android , Chrome , search related topics and sometimes new devices is said to take place on two days (28 and 29th) of May . 20Sony has launched a fancier version of its Smartwatch 3 . The Stainless steel edition of the Smartwatch has no hardware improvements over the standard Snapdragon 400 powered Smartwatch 3 but its IP rating has been increased to IP68 which is brings better dust protection against the standard models IP58 standard . Other specs added in the stainless steel edition include a socket to which any standard 24mm watch strap can be fixed on - which is another feature omitted in the standard version .
