20Sony has launched a fancier version of its Smartwatch 3 . The Stainless steel edition of the Smartwatch has no hardware improvements over the standard Snapdragon 400 powered Smartwatch 3 but its IP rating has been increased to IP68 which is brings better dust protection against the standard models IP58 standard . Other specs added in the stainless steel edition include a socket to which any standard 24mm watch strap can be fixed on - which is another feature omitted in the standard version . Sony unveiled 3 new Android devices at IFA today , the Z3 , Z3 compact , Z3 tablet compact and the Xperia E3 (check the IFA2014 tag below) were released  with Android 4.4 out of the box .Sony , who wasn't present at in the Android  Wear OEM list , managed to impress us with their first Android wear smartwatch - The Sony Smartwatch 3 . The watch , which spells the end for the two previous smartwatches that used a modified version of android 2.2 is aimed at a somewhat affordable price bracket of $220 .
