Deal - Get a unlocked Nexus 6 for $233

Always wanted to get a Nexus 6 but you just didnt like the high pricing ? Well apparently Amazon is running a sort of a firesale on the Nexus 6 right now (as we speak) the phone was Motorola's attempt at making a flagship nexus for 2014  . The phone was praised for its good looks and functionality but its $600+ price was just too much for a nexus so developers and average android Joes forgot about it . With the Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P replacing the throne , the Nexus 6 is now decomissioned but it will still get official updates for many more years to come . The phone initially came out with Android 5.0 and it is currently on 6.0 marshmallow . The ex flagship nexus is available for a alltime low of $249 for the 32GB model and $299 for the 64GB model . If you are interested , head on over to Amazons page and break your piggybanks . Available till stocks lasts . Source -  Amazon

Nexus 4 , OG Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will not receive Android 6.0

Although Google launched three new platforms for its Android 6.0 Marshmallow - the Nexus 5X , 6P and the Pixel C Tablet , a majority of users using older nexus devices are also said to receive the update very soon but those of you on Nexus 4 , Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 10 devices will probably have to look elsewhere as software update support has officially been dropped for these three devices The Nexus 4 - a phone launched during the end of 2012 is still capable of running Android 6.0 but its low internal storage (the 8GB model) and due to the fact that it has been succeeded by 4 Nexus phones models since its launch ,and so keeping support for this device might be another chore for Google  so this model has officially hit its End of life now .  The Nexus 7 2012 - is another device that has ended its update service life and will not get any Marshmallow officially . The Tablet , launched in 2012 was one of the most popular and influential tablet devices to date as it...

Nexus 5 is no more , Google finally retires 2 year old handset

Google's mighty work horse smartphone - the Nexus 5 has finally reached its end . The phone , which was probably the most well received and the most popular nexus device to date was originally introduced in late 2013 and now after nearly (2 years) , Google has pulled the sales plug . The phone , which showcased Android 4.4.4 KitKat had some beastly specs for its time , the device had a 1080p display , a 8mp rear camera with optical image stabilization and a then flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Soc and 2 GB of RAM , the starting price of the device - $349 made it a hit among tech lovers and casual users alike , this , combined with the Nexus 6's expensive price , made the Nexus 5 a affordable alternative to enter the Nexus family , and therefore it was kept on sale until today . Although Google dropped the Nexus 5 off its website , the device will still receive Android updates for another year or two , and with a large developer community , the phone will probably keep r...

Nexus 5 is back in stock

The Nexus 5 has always been one of the most successful Nexii devices to date , the phone, unveiled in the last quarter of 2013 had a low price , good innards and a decent camera that made it a instant hit among budget conscious buyers and developers alike ,but even after getting replaced by the Nexus 6 , the LG made phone was still quite popular as the Motorola Nexus 6 was priced well above the usually expected Nexus Price range. Demand for the Nexus 5 increased and the phone quickly went out of stock , but now we have some good news  - Nexus 5 is back in stock for the usual $349 and $399 price , the models still come with 16 or 32GB versions  , LG who based the Nexus 5 on the LG G2 previously made white and red versions of the Nexus 5 , and from what we heard , those two color options are no more ,so if you want a Nexus 5 expect it to be available only in the charcoal black variant. Apple iPad Air 2 has a new 3 core A8 chip , score-setting benchmarks on Geekbench

Apple was quite silent about their A8X processor's specs when it was launched in the new Apple iPad Air 2 , at first we speculated that Apple used a dual core variant with Apples Motion processor package , but now as benchmark websites point out , the Apple A8X Soc is actually a 3 core unit which when coupled with the Air 2's 2GB RAM makes the tablet one of the new benchmark kings in town . The A8X and its PowerVR GX6450 GPU are currently top dogs at GeekBench with a score of 4477 at Multicore and 1812 at Single core performance  , which is a score that puts the new A8X away from the current Android top dog processors like the Tegra K1 which scored 3258 at Multicore and 1803 at Single core performance . Other benchmarks are still underway , but we can expect the performance gap to be neck and neck at some places like graphics where the Kepler GPU can truly prove its worth , but then again the PowerVR Rogue series of GPU's are no slouch either ,but till then , these prelim...
