Prepare to open a vein as tickets will cost $900 for general attendees. There are a limited number of academic tickets and will surely sell out quickly since pricing is $300 for academic students and employees. Of course, those getting academic tickets will need to provide proof of their enrollment and/or employment to take part in the discount.

A warning for those who plan on buying tickets and reselling them: tickets can not be resold or transferred. In fact, to obtain your Google I/O badge, you’ll need a valid Photo ID at check-in.
Those that want a ticket will have to act fast as the purchase has to finished within five minutes. If the transaction isn’t finished in five minutes, the ticket you were buying will be put back into the available tickets pool. Anyway there is probably alot to expect from Google I/O this time with the main focus being Android Key lime pie ,Nexus 7 (second Gen) and the rumored but not yet confirmed Motorola X (NXT) phone, and as usual we will keep you updated with the latest news on the Google event which is scheduled to start on the 15th of May 2013 .
