Sony Releases first  Xperia Z firmware update 

It seems Sony's Xperia Z is in the midsts of its first official firmware update. Xperia Z owners in Europe are reporting receiving the update to version 10.1.A.1.434 through the Sony PC companion app, however it seems the update isn't rolling out for everyone just yet, The update -although the purpose is not mentioned , is said to fix a few lag issues and the possible "die young " issue plaguing a some Xperia Z  devices

When it comes to teardowns , its usually iFixit who goes in first , but sony decided to conduct their own teardown of their flagship Xperia Tablet Z in a short but interesting video . Like most modern tablets , the device uses alot of adhesive and strangely lots of tape ( like they say -Duct tape fixes anything) - and it features a very large battery unit inside . So go ahead and watch the horror show 


Let the SmartWatch games begin !


Smartwatches were basically Android powered devices that sync'ed with your smartphone showing data from your phone through a bluetooth connection .Although Sony , Pebble , and I'm watch started the trend people never thought that it's going to be popular . Then with the announcement of Google's Google Glass , rumor has it that Apple is planning a counter attack using the Smartwatch Principle , of course , these are still rumors , but then Samsung anounced that they will be making their own version and today we have Google and LG announcing their own R&D Smartwatch projects ,well as for now , we have no idea about Google's Smartwatch project , but we believe that LG was  sincier with their anouncement because they made such a device back in 2009 (see picture) called the LG GD910 
Sony ,Lenovo Huawei and ZTE  plan to release MediaTek powered Quad Core phones for the masses .
MediaTek’s quad-core MT6589 chip is behind the boom in cheap 1080p smartphones in China, Although the Mediatek processor might not be as powerful as rival chipsets from Qualcomm and Nvidia , the ultra low price is really attracting a huge crowd and MediaTek already has over 20 clients waiting in line for their chips - and most of the Mediatek clients have used their chips to power 1080p smartphones with prices as low as $200 off contract and this has grabbed the attention of some big shots such as Sony , Lenovo ,Huawei and ZTE to join in . And as far as reports go , Mediatek is planning to give a 10% discount for their Quadcore chipset and this will surely attract more clients.

Apple iPhone 8 , 8 Plus and iPhone X announced

Apple has officially announced the iPhone 8  , the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X today at their special event held in Cupertino , California . HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers.
