HTC One info-graphic shows us how small things can pack a big punch

Just a few minutes ago, it seems someone over at the official HTC blog pulled the trigger on an HTC One Mini teaser campaign a bit early. A post titled "Little Things That Pack a BIG Punch" was live for a few moments, only to quickly disappear. It was a pretty obvious hint at the upcoming HTC One Mini, which is perhaps best-known at this point as HTC's worst-kept secret.
The post didn't detail specifications, or even specifically name the HTC One Mini, but the intent was plainly to tease the upcoming device. Here's the text of that post -

"The HTC One, by many accounts, is the pinnacle of smartphone achievement. The beautiful metal design, powerful hardware, and innovative user experience pack a lot into a svelte package, making it hit with critics and consumers alike. This success has only boosted our passion to bring the One experience to as many people as possible. In that spirit, here’s an homage to little things that back a big punch.
Can you think of anything else that packs a big punch into a small package?"

The last sentence of the first paragraph is really the key here - wanting to "bring the One experience to as many people as possible." So you can probably assume the One Mini is going to be cheap[-ish] compared to the HTC One which is still pricier than most rival smartphones out there . HTC seems to imply it will pack a "big punch," though recent leaks have pointed to a fairly middle-of-the-road Snapdragon 400 dual-core chip, 1GB of RAM, and a 4.3" 720p display. Still, that's considerably better than the Galaxy S4 Mini, which is the primary device HTC will be trying to One-up here

What can we take from this blog post? Well, a One Mini announcement can't be far off now, so it's probably a safe bet that the [relatively] pint-sized One will drop in the coming weeks. AndroidAndMe

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
