Flappy Bird Game review

The mobile gaming industry has gone to great lengths in promoting console quality gaming for the masses , Today we have Quad and Octa core processors in smartphones and tablets with many gigabytes of RAM to play the latest editions of GTA , Asphalt and Infinity blade etc  ,these games bleed with graphics , usual game violence and usually end up heating your gadgets to a almost melting point , but even with this , these big title games from super-rich companies  sell well even-though they cost a dollar or two ,and most of them are top hits whether it be iOS,Android (and windows phone) and in this capitalistic environment , the world of independent and "freebie" game development almost seems to be non existent , but recently (a few days ago), a simple but addictive free game has hit the top charts and is  taking the world by storm , this game is none other than - Flappy Bird

Plot Gameplay and controls

This game is basic , and when i say basic there is no tutorial on how to play it , and there is no settings menu either , just a small graphic showing you the directions "Tap Tap" and once you do tap , the game starts . the plot revolves around you touching the screen to make a color changing bird fly through some green pipes (i guess the bright colors and pixelated edges remind you of Mario Bro's eh?)  and this ladies and gentlemen is not a easy job if you don't have patience .Unlike other free games ,This has no "lives" and other  freemium add-ons like the ones you find on games like Temple Run and Angry Birds and there is no pause in the game either , there is basically no in game control key , and you get the options to share - or play a new game after you crash , this is annoying especially if your girlfriend texts you /mom calls you for dinner when you are just about to pass level 10 after playing for hours ,and this can virtually drive anyone into madness.and yet you still can't stop playing it because there is something about the game that is addictive .i mostly guess this is because every one of us still has a inner-9year old somewhere .

The Good
*Its simple , fun and free - the holy trinity in a successful game
*You can burn hours of commuting ,riding ,boring lecture time with this game ,

The Bad
*No basic in-game menu buttons to pause
*Time is precious , and this new found addiction will quite literally burn it up even  before you even hit level 10
*Game has been pulled out by its creator ,R.I.P Flappy Bird (2014/2/10)

Our rating - 5/10

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
