MasHD Autonews - Mitsubishi's Evolution to end after 2015

Mitsubishi has hit some rough ground over the past few years , but that might get even rougher as the company has confirmed its decision to send the Mitsubishi Evo to rest after 2015 (Markets outside the U.S have already said bye-bye to the brand since the beginning of the year) . Mitsubishi , rather ironically has released black and white photos of the 2015 Mitsubishi Evo in a way to mourn the passing of the rally spec performance sedan . The 2015 model is said to come with the same 2.0 Liter turbocharged 291 horsepower engine as its predecessor and it will have the usual all wheel drive system onboard . The base version is said to include leather in the steering wheel, a 6 speaker sound system , Bluetooth control and a central dash with a 6.1" touchscreen display .18" wheels are standard and so as the usual Brembo brakes . Transmission comes with a 5 speed manual .You can get a sunroof , leather upholstery everywhere and heated seats if you order the premium package . If you wan't more , you can spec for BBS rims , Xenon headlamps , Rockford fosgate sound system and a 6 speed dual-clutch transmission , Eibach springs with Bilstein shock absorbs with the MR variant . The price of the basic 2015 Evo is said to be close to that of its predecessor .

However it is , we are sure to miss the Evo as it left a permanent mark in the history of motorsport ~~and street racing~~ The decision to end the "Evolution" was mostly in favor of introducing a newer hybrid/electric powertrain , the transmission and the powertrain might use a dual clutch / electric power system but so far ,the project is still in development .

Nikon 850 gets leaked ......does the top feature a hybrid EVF?

Obtained by NikonRumors , these two leaked press images give us the first look into what the Nikon D850 actually looks like . TL:DR - Nikon D850 has a larger penta-prism buldge on top , and it no longer features a pop up flash . The bulge will feature connectivity options (Wifi ? Bluetooth and NFC? GPS?) rather than a hybrid EVF(as rumored by many) as locking up the mirror for on sensor detection is still in its infancy ) . Nikon will implement this technology in the future once the tech improves and costs drop down , but by that time they will just feature a Mirrorless lineup as well. Although the new D850 shares the same DNA as its predecessor ,The first leaked images show us that the buttons are now illuminated , this is great for all those "Astrographers" who struggle with finding which is which on the 810 series as backlighting was left out .
