Sony Xperia C3 is official , 5MP front camera with its own LED flash will keep your selfies in order

Yesterday , all of us saw some leaked pictures of the alleged "selfie" smartphone called the Sony Xperia C3 , Sony , who also tweeted about the phone being launched today kept true to its word by making the Xperia C3 official .

The term selfie is a relatively modern term for the act of taking ones picture , although many modern smartphones have a front facing sensor , most cameras are of poor quality compared to the main camera at the back , Sony however has managed to make the art of selfie its main selling for the Xperia C3 , which is the first smartphone to be equiped with a front facing camera with its own LED flash and built in camera apps . The front sensor , which comes with a 80 degree wide angle lens has a sensor of 5MP and it comes with many bells and whistles in the form of downloadable apps which run in the camera interface some of these features are advanced versions of the AR effects found on the Xperia Z1/Z2 and are exclusive to the phone ,other apps include Portrait retouch ,where you can edit the photo using graphics and instagram like effects . The camera has a superior auto mode and intelligent scene detection

Apart from the front camera , the rear side is said to have a 8MP sensor with a LED flash as well . The rest of the specs include a 5.5" 720p display ,a 1.2 Ghz Quadcore snapdragon processor (which we guess is a Snapdragon 400 SOC) ,1GB Ram , 8GB onboard storage with a MicroSD card slot upto 32GB and usual conection options such as DLNA,Wifi 802.11 b/g/n ,bluetooth 4.0 and support for Dual-sim on GSM frequencies ..The phone comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box , price and availability are not yet mentioned

Nikon 850 gets leaked ......does the top feature a hybrid EVF?

Obtained by NikonRumors , these two leaked press images give us the first look into what the Nikon D850 actually looks like . TL:DR - Nikon D850 has a larger penta-prism buldge on top , and it no longer features a pop up flash . The bulge will feature connectivity options (Wifi ? Bluetooth and NFC? GPS?) rather than a hybrid EVF(as rumored by many) as locking up the mirror for on sensor detection is still in its infancy ) . Nikon will implement this technology in the future once the tech improves and costs drop down , but by that time they will just feature a Mirrorless lineup as well. Although the new D850 shares the same DNA as its predecessor ,The first leaked images show us that the buttons are now illuminated , this is great for all those "Astrographers" who struggle with finding which is which on the 810 series as backlighting was left out .
