Nexus set for October launch , details about Nexus X surface

Do you see something strange about the tablet in the picture? ..is this the Nexus 8/9?
 (via -Brightsideofnews/GoogleIO2014)
Although we didn't get to see a Nexus device at Google IO this year we are sure to see not one , but two during the next two months , the rumored Nexus 8 /Nexus 9 also known as the HTC Volantis tablet and the Nexus 6 are both set to be released during the end of October or November of this year .The HTC Volantis (Nexus 8/9) tablet is probably the most expected Nexus device this year as it is obviously going to be a killer device thanks to the rumored 64Bit Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset and HTC's build quality .Latest details about the tablet surfaced after its WIFI certification was leaked out .The device , which is said to have 16 /32GB of onboard storage will be available in WIFI only and LTE+wifi versions once it is announced .Although the wifi certification doesn't reveal much , so far rumors about the device point out that the device will almost certainly cost much more than its predecessors (the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10) .The tablet , which will have the dual core 64Bit processors with Kepler GPU , 2GB of RAM ,8mp Rear camera and HTC's signature design elements will be priced at a somewhat expensive $399 for the 16GB version and $499 for the 32GB model .

Also on the rumor list is the Motorola Nexus X smartphone aka XT1112 , this nexus device , which was probably going to be named Nexus 6 (name may have dropped because of alleged copyrights by Ridley Scott's Blade Runner ) is said to be the stock developer version of its upcoming sister phone - the Motorola X+1  aka Motorola Shamu . The Nexus X , which is rumored to have a  5.9" 2K resolution display will most probably share some curved aesthetics from the previous nexus smartphones .The  device ,unlike the "Volantis" tablet ,will have a 32bit Snapdragon 805 processor , 13MP rear camera and OIS like the Nexus 5 . Both devices will run Android L out of the box as Nexus devices are usually regarded as the vehicle for new Software versions ,and considering that the nexus line is slowly moving becoming more appealing to average Janes and Joe's , the price of these devices will definitely be much more than the bargain prices you usually expect from Nexus devices

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
