Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook

Two years ago , Barnes and Noble launched their Nook series of Android tablets to the market , the move , which was probably in response to Amazon's Kindle Fire series wasn't able to gain any ground in terms of tablet marketshare , so the famous Book store dropped the line in late 2013 , but now they are back , and this time , they have struck a deal with a well known , and possibly the biggest Android Tablet OEM , Samsung.

At first glance , the Samsung device looks like a typical Galaxy Tab 4 , that's because the tablet , which is designed for Nook is still typical Samsung , the buttons , the design and the internals are not changed except for the addition of a dark violet color and a Barnes and Noble Android interface which substitutes for Touchwiz . Some Touchwiz features like Multi-window are still available so it so all those who plan on doing some multitasking might enjoy the device as well. The tablet offers access to Google Play so the move to add the B&N skin is just top show .The tablet , which comes with a 7" 1280x800 display which offers 216PPI is alright for reading , and considering that this is no flagship device , the quadcore Marvell PXA1088 processor and 1GB of RAM , 3mp rear and 1.3mp front camera are alright as well . The tablet comes with GPS and GLONASS  and a 4000mAh battery .The tablet comes with 16GB out of the box with a MicroSD card slot for expandable storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is set to be priced at a affordable $179 and is sold only in the U.S at the moment , the Tablet also comes with $200 worth of content and a $5 coupon for movies and music .Overall the Tablet , which is made by Samsung will surely sell due to its brand recognition , although its not a iPad Killer , the Tab 4 Nook will give Amazon a run for its money .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
