HTC planning a Keyboard / flip cover hybrid cover

By now , most of us have heard about the upcoming HTC Nexus tablet which is nicknamed "Volantis" . The tablet , which is said to feature the 64Bit Nvidia Tegra K1 processor , a 8.9" 2K resolution IPS panel which has a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 8mp rear camera with a 1.6mp front facing sensor + a good amount of Ram . The tablet , which is said to be unveiled somewhere in October  , will be the second Nexus device to be launched along side the Motorola Nexus "Shamu" will feature Android L out of the box . The tablet , with all these features will  be aimed to be a premium device with a somewhat pricy label considering that  HTC devices are usually expensive , but being expensive doesn't mean that people skip buying it ,accessories for the device will surely hit the market after launch , but HTC has already planned their own ones in the form of a hybrid case that will connect with Bluetooth .


The HTC keyboard case , which will come in Leather and  TPU (a type of expanded plastic) versions with embedded magnets for sleep and wake function  . The tablet case will have a Keyboard which will serve as the backplate for the tablet . The front smartcover can be folded into a triangle like any other smartcover . The keyboard section , which connects to the tablet via Bluetooth . The keyboard , which measures at 3mm thick , features a independent 450mAh battery which has a small charging port and a  led light that will signal when charging . The cover measures 228 x 320 x 5 mm.

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile
