IFA 2014 - ASUS Zenwatch



Since its introduction , the Android wear platform has started to pick up some momentum in the smartwatch marketplace ,LG and Samsung and Motorola  are said to spearhead the new platform , but plenty of other manufacturers are also set to join the platform with their own creations. Take a look at this timepiece , this is the new Zenwatch from ASUS , the watch , which has a rounded design and a more premium finish than the G watch and the Gear live is aimed at a price bracket that is beyond the original $199 we expected it to fall into . The Zenwatch , like most other android live devices come with a snapdragon 400 processor and 512MB of RAM. And like the other Wear watches this device is waterproof and dust  resistant (IP 55) . The watch , unllike the other two feature Asus' ZenUI , which is a Android interface by ASUS . The ui , which gives the watch more features such as a custom watch face , unlock your phone , use it to control presentations and even search for your smart device . The built in wellness application will work as a fitness guide and it can offer tips on how to improve your schedule , reduce stress and , like all other fitness equipment , measure your heart and step information . The watch , which is said to cost 199 EUR , *$261  will go on sale in selected markets by the end of the year .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile
