Nokia announces Android 5.0 Tablet for $249

TLDR - specs listed below

Oh the tears we shed for Nokia , Oh the hate we built on Microsoft for erasing the name from Lumia , oh the sadness we all had about the once great...wait a minute ..i believe that its a little too early to cry because Nokia is back (atleast not in full form that is - Nokia is rumored to have sold some brand licences to Foxconn , which is a famous equipment manufacturer that makes devices for many companies including "Apple" ) Nokia has unveiled their new surprise - a Android tablet called the Nokia N1 at a special event in London . The company , which was stripped to the bone and re assembled using Microsoft badges is no longer a handset company but they do have services and in this case a Tablet which means that Nokia might continue in the consumer computer department in the future as well . The Nokia N1 tablet is also the first device to carry a N badge after the coveted N Series went bust with the Nokia N9 . The Tablet , unlike the plethora of Microsoft devices it spawned is running Android out of the box , and in this case - Android 5.0 Lollipop , the Android lollipop is left basically untouched and the three distinct touch hardware buttons remain as they are supposed to be (unlike the Nokia X series) but like all Android OEM's Nokia has added its own UI which is now called Z launcher which is also available as a third party download for other Android devices via playstore . The tablet features a 7.9" IPS display with a resolution of 2048x1536 which is the same as the iPad Mini with retina display . The resulting resolution gives 323 ppi . The rest of the tablet looks very promising as well , the tablet has a 64bit Intel Atom processor (check specs below) and a Wolfson DAC audio amp for music output .The tablet also has a 5mp front facing camera and a rear facing 8 mp camera that sits in the top left corner of the somewhat iPad looking aluminium chassis . The tablet is priced at $249 and it is said to be available early Next year.

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...

The three new smartphones , announced right along side their new Apple TV 4K and the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular support ,mark a new beginning for Apple as they set out to further refine the 10 year old legacy set by the original iPhone almost 10 years back . iPhone 8 and 8 Plus The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are basically successors to last year's iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models , the new duo - designed with glass backs and a metal frame , says goodbye to Apple's aluminum unibody construction as the new iPhones feature Qi Wireless charging (Metal backs are not very good for inductive charging ) . The phones , which still feature the same display sizes - 5.5" - iPhone 8 Plus and 4.7 " on the iPhone 8 will not "wow" anyone as they still feature no major resolution bump as well .But as they say , true beauty is ...
