Samsung's new E series hopes to take on the youth with metal bands and selfie cameras


In the early days , Samsung had a reputation to launch a barrage of devices and then find out which one sticks .but now with difficult times and harsh competition , Samsung is revising its strategy and is working on ways to improve its product line with one step at a time . Introducing the new E series of Samsung smartphones , these phones are aimed at young users who can't afford the top tier A series of phones , but still want a metal package and good specs for a lower price  .The phones are currently sold in India , but they might land in Europe and the rest of Asia in the near future .


Samsung Galaxy E5 



This is Samsung's entry level E series smartphone for now , the phone , like its elder brothers , feature a aluminium frame to which plastic and glass bits are connected to . The frame measures in at 7.3mm.The phone has a 5" display , a 64bit Snapdragon 410 chip and a 5mp front facing camera for selfies . the phone costs $305 (rough currency conversion)

This is Samsung's flagship model for the E series , the phone also has a thin metal band , but its rear camera , display and battery have been bumped up along with a few Dollars extra .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile
