LG G4 and its retail box contents leaked before official debut

LG's G4 is going to go official today , but many eagle eye fans and leakers have gone into over drive in leaking out the device a few hours before the device is set to go live . First off , we have a leak of the official LG G4 retail box - which at first glance looks quite generic , but on the back , full specs of the device are almost listed in full glory .

The first words we see on the box are "Qualcomm Snapdragon" - which doesnt hint much at whats ticking inside ,but according to reports , LG has opted to skip the Snapdragon 810 Soc which has been accused of having heat dissipation issues and instead LG is settling on the also 64bit Snapdragon 808 chip for the G4 . The phone is also said to have 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM , although it is not listed on the box , we recon LG has kept the RAM and storage akin to rival top end smartphones of today . The box on the other hand reveals details about the phone's 5.5" QHD (2K) resolution IPS display which LG calls as a LG quantum display , the display is protected by a sheet of Gorilla glass 4 .  The camera on the LG G4 is listed on the box as 16MP with a laser autofocus and F1.8 aperture , this sensor is also said to pack Optical image stabilization and a dual LED flash . The phone will also accompany 8MP front camera but no further details are available on it . The phone's other main feature that sets it apart from other flagships is its battery - which in this case is removable , the battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh's ,apparently LG is said to include a second battery in its packing (which was leaked a few hours after this one )  LG is also promoting its Quadbeats 4 in ear buds with the handset .

The next leak comes courtesy of Mr Blurrycam , the photos , which clearly show LG's glorious leather backplates - Black and tan are placed next to a polycarbonate one on the left in the first picture

The second picture shows the front of the G4 , the remaining photos show all of LG's goodies for the G4 including that Quadbeats 4 headset we said about earlier .

LG is expected to launch the G4 in a few hours time so stay tuned .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...

Nexus 4 , OG Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will not receive Android 6.0

Although Google launched three new platforms for its Android 6.0 Marshmallow - the Nexus 5X , 6P and the Pixel C Tablet , a majority of users using older nexus devices are also said to receive the update very soon but those of you on Nexus 4 , Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 10 devices will probably have to look elsewhere as software update support has officially been dropped for these three devices The Nexus 4 - a phone launched during the end of 2012 is still capable of running Android 6.0 but its low internal storage (the 8GB model) and due to the fact that it has been succeeded by 4 Nexus phones models since its launch ,and so keeping support for this device might be another chore for Google  so this model has officially hit its End of life now .  The Nexus 7 2012 - is another device that has ended its update service life and will not get any Marshmallow officially . The Tablet , launched in 2012 was one of the most popular and influential tablet devices to date as it...
