Asus Zenfone Selfie unveiled

Asus has launched a new smartphone to the already big Zenfone family , the phone , called the Zenfone Selfie - which as the name implies , is a selfie oriented smartphone built on top of the highly successful Zenfone 2 chassis - minus the processor

Powered by a Snapdragon 615, the Zenfone selfie brings a change to the otherwise Intel Atom equipped Zenfone series , the processor is backed up by Adreno 405 graphics and a decent 2/3GB of RAM depending on what storage option you buy .The phone comes with 16 or 32GB of storage on board , and you can expand it via microSD card slot .

Taking selfies is the name of the game when it comes to the Zenfone selfie , equipped with a 13MP front facing camera with two LED flashes for color balancing , the sensor has a f 2.0 aperture as well as a 22mm wide angle lens .The phone also has a 13MP rear camera a-la the Zenfone 2 ,but this time , the sensor features a laser autofocus system which is un heard of in a phone that's not from LG , the rear sensor has a F 2.2 aperture and a 24mm lens along with two LED flashes

The rest of the specs include LTE , WIFI , Bluetooth and even NFC , the phone has a non removable 3000 mAh battery and since it is not packing a power hungry Intel chip , battery life might be a bit better ,The Zenfone Selfie comes with Android 5.0 along with Zen UI out of the box

We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
