Lenovo CEO on Motorola - "exciting products" to launch this summer

After Motorola's acquisition by Lenovo , the once stagnant company has made a huge comeback in the form of new devices and more customers .Owned once by Google , Motorola did see some success but after Lenovo's takeover , the company turned a new page and went all out on the mainstream market in the form of MicroSD card equipped smartphones , a new Nexus and the most popular Android wear watch to date - Moto 360 .

According to a interview by The Telegraph , Lenovo's current CEO - Yang Yuanqing, many exciting products are in the pipeline for this year ,there is also a bit of a hint in a second generation Moto 360 as well as hints of a 3rd gen Moto G

"We have many new models in development with the Moto brands. So you may see in summer us launching some very exciting products, including phones and watches."

The second generation Moto 360 was leaked earlier and it shows a thinner profile than the one it replaces , apart from the more Huawei watch like design , the new model is said to include a faster processor than the older generation model which has a older Texas instruments Soc .The old flat tire is also said to get ditched as it became a sort of a Achilles heel in the current generation .

The Moto G is also set to launch during the same timeframe , the product , which is one of the most successful Smartphones from Motorola is set to get a 3rd generational upgrade this year . The device ,named as XT1565 by its codename is said to bring new goodies to the table as the phone is expected to have 2GB of RAM , a new 64bit processor , upgraded Bluetooth , Wifi standards and of course , a bigger display and battery , the device is also rumored to come in 3G and 4G versions with the 3G version launching a few month ahead of the 4G version with 8GB of internal storage , although most of the rumors should be taken with a grain of salt , there is a high possibility that both the Moto 360 second gen and Moto G 2015 get launched simultaneously at a special summer event in the coming months

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
