Apple unveils 64bit equipped 6th gen iPod touch and new color refresh for Shuffle and Nano

Apple has finally announced the long awaited refresh for its iPod range today, the previous versions of the iPod shuffle, iPod Nano and the iPod touch were last refreshed in 2012 with the iPod Touch getting a fully fledged retina display of 4 inches and a new sleek iPhone like anodized aluminum back, the Chip inside the iPod was a Apple A5 - a chip that was old at the time of launch. Flash forward to 2015, we have Apple bumping the minimum specs of every ios device to 64bit technology. The iPod, which ran a dual core cortex A9 processor is out of date at the moment so it is a logical step to increase power on the 2015 refresh we have today. Say hello to the iPod touch 5th/6th generation. The iPod has now recieved a welcome refresh in the form of a Apple A8 Soc - a chip from the iPhone 6/6+, although we expected Apple to add a Apple A7, this is quite a surprise indeed, the rest of the specs are mostly the same, but the rear camera is now bumped to 8mp. The display in the iPod remains unchanged, the same 4" display is present and so is the fancy loop and anodized she'll which is now available in a dark blue, champagne gold and hot pink, and last and not least Apple has added a 128GB option replacing the storage missed by the hard disk based ipod classic

Apple iPod Touch 6th gen
*Apple A8 Soc
*4" 1136×640p Ips display
*WiFi only 32GB- 64GB and 128GB models
*8mp rear camera, Led flash, 1.2mp
*Pricing - 16GB$199 ,32GB$249 ,64GB$299 ,128GB$399

And as usual, Apple has quietly added new color options to the already aging Apple ipod shuffle and ipod Nano which are two devices that don't require the latest and greatest hardware to run on, with no cosmetic changes apart from the addition of hot pink, champagne gold and deep blue, the duo are still kept at their usual $49 - $149 price.

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
