Samsung to announce the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge + tomorrow - what we know so far

Alleged Note 5
Samsung is set to announce two big screened devices tomorrow - The Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 ,

the two devices - spawned from the unibody design language which started from the Galaxy S6 series has finally managed to take hold of all flagship device and therefore  these devices are set to omit regular Samsung features including a removable battery and even a MicroSD card. Although many of you regard this as blasphemy , removing these features is probably set to happen someday so might as well get over it now .

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +

Think of this as Samsung's answer to the iPhone 6 Plus , the giant phone is basically a blown up version of the Galaxy S6 Edge which is making waves in the current mobile marketplace . Placed next to this iPhone 6  Plus , we can see that the Edge plus is quite a big boned fellow as it has a 5.67" 2560x1440 SAmoled display along with curved edges which gives it quite a unique look . The S6 Edge is also similar to the Note 5 as both share a similar display  resolution and battery capacity . Powering the behemoth is a rumored 64bit Exynos 7420 Soc , ARM Mali T760 GPU and a 4GB RAM option along with 32 or
64GB of onboard storage .

The phone is set to have Samsung's signature 16MP rear camera module along with a 5MP front facing one , the whole chassis is set to be 6.9mm thin and this is also set to hold a non removable 3000 mah cell inside along with Samsung power optimizations on Android 5.1.1 .

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Samsung has always kept the Note series as a device fit for a endurance lifestyle , the removable battery and the addition of MicroSD card slots were welcome features and many of the users appreciated it greatly , but in a change of heart Samsung is slowly sealing things up and so the next Note 5 (which is set to be unveiled tomorrow is going to come with a sealed 3000 mAh battery - a somewhat of a backward move if you consider the mAh figures .The MicroSd card slot is also set to take a early retirement as the new model is not expected to come with it although there is a small chance that the sim tray might house a secondary sim slot which can be converted to a MicroSD card slot (a feature found on most Samsung products now) .Rest of the features include a 5.67-5.7" SAmoled display with 2560x1440 resolution ,Samsung's excellent S-Pen stylus and a more squarish design
Powering the rumored device is a Exynos 7422 Soc , the chip is expected to blow much of the competition thanks to its raw power and 4GB of RAM .Storage on the note 5 is said to come in 32 or 64GB options , and if a MicroSD card is present , you can have something like a expansion cap of about 128GB extra .

Cameras on the Note 5 are said to be Samsung's staple 16MP sensor with OIS , the camera is said to feature 4K recording while the front facing 5MP camera will only be able to capture 1080p . The device is set to carry a 3000 mAh non removable cell and a below 8mm thickness overall .

Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6Edge + at a special event to be held tomorrow (Aug 13)

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...

Apple has officially announced the iPhone 8  , the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X today at their special event held in Cupertino , California . The three new smartphones , announced right along side their new Apple TV 4K and the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular support ,mark a new beginning for Apple as they set out to further refine the 10 year old legacy set by the original iPhone almost 10 years back . iPhone 8 and 8 Plus The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are basically successors to last year's iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models , the new duo - designed with glass backs and a metal frame , says goodbye to Apple's aluminum unibody construction as the new iPhones feature Qi Wireless charging (Metal backs are not very good for inductive charging ) . The phones , which still feature the same display sizes - 5.5" - iPhone 8 Plus and 4.7 " on the iPhone 8 will not "wow" anyone as they still feature no major resolution bump as well .But as they say , true beauty is ...
