IFA 2015 - Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3C

Although the Idol series is making huge gains for the company, Alcatel is still determined to keep their entry level segment up to date and this time they chose to launch a  more affordable alternative to the best seller called the Idol 3C

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3C

This phone is basically a spin off the Idol 3 and most of the parts are somewhat identical , like its "idol" the 3C has a 5.5" IPS display which is still a 1080p one  , the same Snapdragon 615 is also brought forward and so is the almost identical amount of RAM - 2GB . The phone has a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front module which are also found on the Idol 3 as well .The only difference between the two are chassis designs as the new model features a more funky colored polycarbonate design which is set to appeal to younger buyers .Apart from the subtle chassis change  , the Idol 3C is internally same as its more expensive counterpart and therefore you might be looking at a below $250 price for this device . HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
