HTC announces One A9 , brings familiar design cues with Marshmallow

If you can't beat them , join them ..that was probably what HTC kept as their mantra when they designed the HTC A9 , which although we cannot say directly , looks much like ..cough..cough ..a iPhone 6 .The A9 is HTCs latest flag carrier for the remaining half of the year , the phone , designed on some design cues inherited from the One S and the iPhone 6 skips on some HTC staples such as boomsound speakers and SLCd displays and instead it features a unibody chassis and a AMOLED display . The phone , like previous models , is designed to look expensive and the A9 is no exception . Made of aluminum and steel the iPhone esque design does look like a knock off iPhone ,but the HTC logo offsets that by adding a bit more bezel , a long fingerprint sensor and HTC on the front panel . The AmOled display ,which comes in a resolution of 1080p is 5” inches and i has 441ppi and Gorilla glass 4 protection .Processing power on the device comes from a Snapdragon 617 Soc clocked to 1.5 Ghz and i...

LG V10

LG’s V10 brings more bells and whistles to the already great LG G4 launched earlier this year . The V10 improves upon some points and excels in others as LG hopes to take their successful smartphone recipe and make it appealing in a world dominated by Apple and Samsung . The LG V10 ,like the G4 features a Snapdragon 808 Soc clocked to 1.44 Ghz . The chip , found i in LG’s current Nexus 5X and the G4 is slightly less powerful than the S810, but due to better thermal management this chip will not make it a oven glove like some rival products and its 4GB of Ram means apps will still run well . The display , or shall we say displays is very unique to this device as the 5.7 inch 2K (1440x2560) resolution display has a small 2.1”secondary display (160x1040) section which has small apps aimed at productivity , this feature works similar to the “edge” in Samsungs S6 and it can remain on even if the main display is off ,the IPS display is protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass 4 . Microsoft Lumia 650

Microsoft's new flagship hardware are finally official , the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL . The Lumia 950XL is Microsoft's flagship device but Microsoft has a slightly affordable option - the Lumia 950 , the phone , made on familiar Nokia designs features a industrial polycarbonate design which comes in very thick color options .The phone replaces the Lumia 930 from almost two years ago and the new model brings Microsoft back in to the smartphone game as it so far had no flagship competitor to meet the Android and iOS competition. The new phone might not be a flagship as the 950XL,but it will certainly hold its ground and still remail cooler as it packs a slower Snapdragon 808 Soc. The Lumia 950 features a 5.2 "AMOLED display with 2560x1440p resolution and it comes with touch buttons rather than using capacitive buttons as the bigger flagship . The phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Soc and this features 3GB of Ram on board as well . The phone features a 20MP rear un...
