Whether you like it or not , Chromebooks are here to stay , the web connected operating system is now many years old and due to its enhanced security and low cost , Chromebook devices are really appealing to people who just want to surf the web ,Acer - a major hardware vendor using the OS have updated their Chromebook 11 series with a new , more durable model that will survive 60 cm drops and 60kg downward pressure .

Say hello to the Chromebook 11 CB3-131 . This rugged Chromebook , or lets say the shell of the laptop is designed to absorb the daily bumps and drops you may experience during use . The internals on the other hand are still kept in true Chromebook fashion - ARM processors , small internal storage options and a whopping 9 hour usage rating . The new CB3 131 comes in 2gb ram/16gb storage and 4gb ram/32gb versions , the display on the Chromebook is a 11.6" 1366x768 resolutiom display with Acer comfyview glare reduction technology. The Acer Chromebook 11 CB3 131 will go on sale starting this February in North America and the base model costs $179

iPad (2022) and iPad Pro with M2 announced

Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor. The event, held on the 18th of October as a recorded session displayed the key features of the iPads with the most significant being the base model iPad which has now received an upgrade. iPad 2022 This model of the base model iPad ditches the almost 12 year old home button and display layout and goes for a cleaner display only design found on the iPad Air . The chassis, which now comes with flatter sides and a TouchID fingerprint sensor on the top has also abandoned the lightning port in favor of USB C and it also comes with a set of pogo style connectors for accessories including a keyboard with trackpad.
