CES 2016 - Acer Liquid Jade Primo with Windows 10 Mobile unveiled

Acer's new Liquid Jade Primo is Acers new flagship spec smartphone with Windows 10 mobile . The phone , running on a Snapdragon 808 Soc features 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage ,unlike the somewhat expensive Lumia smartphones , this packs a $620 price and for that money , you get features like Windows Continuum and 4K video recording .

Design wise , the Jade primo has usual indutrial looks and it comes with a 5.5" 1080p amoled pannel .There is also Gorilla glass protection so you dont need to worry muchabout light drops and scratches . A Type C usb port sits below the chassis and this can be connected to another USB C supported monitor for Continuum support .

The Jade Primo features a 21MP f/2.2 auto-focus rear camera that features dual LED flash, and 4K video recording. The front camera features a 8mp sensor with 1080p recording .Overall the Jade Primo is a well spec flagship smartphone , but considering that rival handsets feature better specs and a more appealing software experience , success might depend solely on undercutting the competition with affordable prices and in this sense the phone does well as it starts at $620 .

Nikon 850 gets leaked ......does the top feature a hybrid EVF?

Obtained by NikonRumors , these two leaked press images give us the first look into what the Nikon D850 actually looks like . TL:DR - Nikon D850 has a larger penta-prism buldge on top , and it no longer features a pop up flash . The bulge will feature connectivity options (Wifi ? Bluetooth and NFC? GPS?) rather than a hybrid EVF(as rumored by many) as locking up the mirror for on sensor detection is still in its infancy ) . Nikon will implement this technology in the future once the tech improves and costs drop down , but by that time they will just feature a Mirrorless lineup as well. Although the new D850 shares the same DNA as its predecessor ,The first leaked images show us that the buttons are now illuminated , this is great for all those "Astrographers" who struggle with finding which is which on the 810 series as backlighting was left out . There is also a tiltable touch screen display and will certainly benefit all those who shoot like to shoot in odd an...
