Shimano Japan has unveiled a new action camera aimed at cyclists who want more from their action camera . The CM 2000 model - Shimano's flagship action camera , sits above the CM 1000 model launched previously as it features 4K recording . The camera- designed to work as a companion -all in one system can record heart rate BPM data (via external arm strap) ,speed ,cadence and GPS data as well . The camera , once synced with your smartphone , can deliver real time parameters of the cyclist to the app and can notify the user if they exceed the set limits of the workout/ride there is also support for external ANT+ peripherals as well . The camera is water resistant upto 10m and is also dust resistant . The camera also features image stability and the compatible iOS and Android app lets you tweak the camera view to a 90 degree 120 and 130 degrees Field of view along with whitebalence and exposure adjustment .The CM 2000 is expected to retail for $349 and it will also include Shimano's new editing software and compatible smartphone apps .
