Samsung Galaxy Book and Tab S3 unveiled with Stylus support , S8 to be unveiled on March 29th

Samsung has unveiled 2 new Tablets for 2017 . The tablets running Android and Windows 10 respectively are both supported by Wacom S-Pen stylus support ,AMOLED display panels and AKG powered panels .

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3





This is probably Samsung's flagship tablet for 2017 . The tablet , a part of the S series follows the S pen integration support provided on the Tab A models previously , but in a more palm friendly - larger size .

The tablet , which is a 2048x1536 resolution AMOLED display with 4:3 aspect ratio is somewhat similar to the Tab S2 models ,but it now has a Wacom digitizer panel and palm rejection and HDR 10 image enhancement .

The processing power comes from a 2.16 Ghz Snapdragon 820 Soc a-la S7 . The processor is also mated with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and MicroSD card support . The tablet also has 4G LTE

Cameras on the tablet include a 13MP rear sensor f1.9 and a 27mm ( FF equivalent )  ,4K video recording and LED flash . The front includes a 5mp f2.2 aperture camera with 1080p recording

The tablet has a 6000 mAh battery with Qualcomm fast charging and USB Type C 3.1  .The tablet has Harmann/AKG stereo sound and support for A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS (Beidou), GALILEO global satellite systems. The tablet runs on Android 7.0 out of the box .

Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 and 12 




Apart from the Android powered flagship tablet , Samsung also unveiled two Windows 10 powered tablets to compete against Microsoft's Surface Book and Surface pro models .

Samsung Galaxy Book 10. 6"




This is Samsung's Surface pro rival , the tablet , based on a dual core 2.6Ghz Intel Core M3 (same as most premium notebooks now) also has 4GB of RAM 64 or 128GB storage (plus microSD) onboard .The tablet has a 10.6" 1920x1080p TFT display and is also LTE capable via a compatible nano sim . The tablet has a USB type C port and a 5Mp rear camera with 1080p recording . This model also has support for s-pen support externally .

Samsung Galaxy Book 12"




If you really need a capable Windows tablet then this is it . The Book 12" model as the name says is pacing a 2160x1440  resolution display at 12" .This also has the 13Mp rear camera from the Tab S3 and the same front camera and recording options as well . But the similarities end there as it packs a Intel Kaby-Lake(7th gen) core i5 Dual core processor clocked to 3.16Ghz . The tablet also has 4GB of RAM with the 128GB option and 8GB ram with the 256GB option . Both models feature MicroSD support and a 39.4W battery (larger than the 30W battery in the book 10.6") offering 10 hours of usage .

Samsung also anounced that the S8 (and S8 plus hopefully) will be unveiled at a special event at 11:00 a.m. EDT in New York on the 29th of March.
