Sony Xperia XZs , XA1 ,XA1 Ultra unveiled

Apart from Sony's insanely spec'ed Xperia ZX Premium ,there is also a trio of handsets who went without much of the limelight today .The Xperia ZXs , XA1 and XA1 Ultra and the Xperia Touch projector are probably some of the best Xperia devices to come with the name in recent times .

Xperia XZs

Design wise , the new Sony ZXs builds on Sony's timeless design process with wrap around Gorilla glass 5 surfaces and IP68 dust and water resistance . This design is also aided by a heat pipe layout found on many modern flagships today . The design also has a side mounter fingerprint sensor and the gorgeous 960 fps video recording feature .Also included are dual S force stereo speakers .

Display wise , the new phone is equipped with an IPS display (1920x1080)which is is supported by Sony's Triluminous display technology and X reality image processing engine .The display is protected by Corning gorilla glass 5

Processing power is provided by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 . The Snapdragon 820 chip is mated to 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage with MicroSD expansion

Sony will be including their super slow-motion "Motion Eye" capable Smartphone sensor on this smartphone . The sensor , which includes a layer of Dynamic RAM (DRAM) between the BSI image sensor and the circuit section . This new sensor - which has 19 effective megapixels is also a 1/2.3" sensor which puts in the same class as most high end action cameras of today .The sensor however can capture 19.6 megapixels in 1/120th of a second using its electronic shutter .The camera has a dual LED flash and Optical image stability along with 4k recording and a 13mp front camera

The Battery on the XZs is said to be 2900 mAh which is similar to previous Xperia flagships but slightly smaller than the ZX premium . Pricing is yet to be revealed , but it will be "cheaper" than the bigger flagship .The phone runs Android 7.0 btw .

XA1 and XA1 Ultra

Designed to replace the XA series launched previously , the XA1 and the XA1 Ultra are both killer phones to start with . Both phones have Sony's 23 mp 1/2.3" 23MP rear sensor , and pack a Mediatek Helio P20 6757 chipset under the hood , but thats where the similarities end as the XA1 features a 5" 720p display , 3GB of Ram , 32GB of internal storage , USB type C , NFC , Bluetooth 4.2 and  Android 7.0 out of the box along with a $299 price tag .

The bigger XA1 Ultra however is a true beast mid ranger , the specs including the rear camera and processor may be similar , but this has a large 6" 1080p display , 4GB of Ram ,32GB or 64GB internal storage ,16MP front camera , NFC , USB C , Bluetooth 4.2 and a 2700 mAh battery .The phone runs Android 7.0 out of the box .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
