Action cameras and drones are all the rave these days , with new models popping up almost every week , the outdoor camera industry is seeing one of its biggest cash booms yet and this has basically everyone going in for the gold -including lesser known brands like MG cool who has a solid action camera lineup in its Explorer series .

Say hello to the Explorer ES - this is a $35 action camera which records 1080p , 18mp stills while being waterproof upto 30m (with a  case) and offer 80 minutes of use - sounds to good to be true eh ? Well MGcool is official with the Explorer ES and their previous models which are even 4k capable cost a lot less than 1/5th the price of even the cheapest GoPro around , so this one will not dissapoint .


The camera comes with a 2" display for framing and it also has a microSD card slot to record videos in to . There is an app to set basic iso and other settings and it also has a 170 degree FOV on its wide angle lens up front . The battery of the device is said to be a 1020 mAh removable unit . This is rated for 80 minutes of recording and you also get a dashcam mode where you can record loop videos and use the camera as a dashcam as well .

Currently the MGCool Explorer ES is sold for $35 off their website , but some sellers are said to sell it below that price as wel, .
