Lensbaby has announced a new lens for their high end Velvet line . The new 85mm f1.8 might not sound groundbreaking , but if you are a fan of dreamy bokkeh with creamy skin tones and shoot at high apertures then this prime is certainly something to have in your bag . The lens , which joins the Velvet 56mm offers a artistic,fun and a unique way of shooting portraits which according to Lensbaby, offers a way to "Compose impressionistic masterpieces with a velvety glow at bright apertures, straight out of camera. Use darker apertures to bypass glow and make images with a crisp, film-like aesthetic."

Other details include the ability to shoot 1:2 Macro , a 12 bladed iris for awesome and unique bokeh art and f1.8-f16 manual control . The lens , built upon the feedback given to the Velvet 56 now comes in basically every camera mount option to date !

iPad (2022) and iPad Pro with M2 announced

Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor. The event, held on the 18th of October as a recorded session displayed the key features of the iPads with the most significant being the base model iPad which has now received an upgrade. iPad 2022 This model of the base model iPad ditches the almost 12 year old home button and display layout and goes for a cleaner display only design found on the iPad Air . The chassis, which now comes with flatter sides and a TouchID fingerprint sensor on the top has also abandoned the lightning port in favor of USB C and it also comes with a set of pogo style connectors for accessories including a keyboard with trackpad.
