Razer Phone

Razer has officially announced their first phone which is simply called the "Razer phone" . The device , made with mobile gaming in mind is set to take on current flagship phones with focus set on providing a great audio and visual experience no matter what kind of content you consume .

Design and Specs

Based on Nextbit's Robin platform (Razer acquired Nextbit fyi) ,the phone is certainly unique as its industrial design looks nothing like the current plethora of similar looking phones launched this year .The phone packs front firing speakers - a feature dropped by almost all companies in order for bigger screen real estate , is certainly welcoming . And between the two speakers sits a 5.72" 2K resolution display which features a superfast refresh rate of 60hz and 120fps .The design , which contains a metal unibody design and this houses the superb Snapdragon 835 SOC and a monstrous 8GB of RAM -While this may sound like overkill , you should remember that games and apps continue to get more graphic intensive and therefore these specs will surely make this a future proof device for years to come (Those who like to tinker with their phone will surely love this device as it has an unlockable bootloader and a stock Android experience )

Camera specs include a dual camera set up with 2x 12 mp sensor array , one has a wider field of view while the second has a telephoto view . The phone shoots 4K video .

Battery life is probably going to be a plus point for the Razer Phone as it has a 4000mAh battery with quickcharge 4 enabled .

Overall the Razer Phone brings a breath of fresh air to the already crowded smartphone marketplace , with good specs and a decent price of $699 unlocked , the package is certainly a good choice for anyone who wants a unique and powerful handset .

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
