Honor 50 ,Honor 50 SE and Honor 50 Pro "leak" ahead of June 16th launch

Honor 50 SE

Honor - an offshoot of the once mighty Smartphone juggernaut Huawei is now said to announce their Honor 50 series of smartphones on the 16th of June - and it will have access to Google Apps and the playstore.

The phones, according to what is out at the moment are said to come in three variants - a Pro model , a standard model and a SE variant covering the more "affordable" realm. The Honor SE is said to 6.78" FHD+ resolution IPS display and feature a Mediatek Dimensity 900 series chipset and a whopping 100MP sensor with f1.9 aperture and a 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor as well as a 4000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging - not bad.

The "mid ranger" in the series is the Honor 50 and this packs a 6.57" FHD+ OLED  display and packs a Snapdragon 778G Soc as well as a 108MP f1.9 sensor with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor array as well as a 4300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging as well.

The top of the range model - the Honor 50 Pro, features a Snapdragon 778G soc with  8-12GB of RAM and feature the same 108MP f1.8 sensor and the 8MP and 2+2MP array as the Honor 50, but the front facing sensor is upgraded to 12MP , the display increased to 6.72" FHD+ OLED and the fast charging has been increased to 100W and due to technical limitations the battery has been reduced to 4000mAh.

Overall the most compelling out of the "leaked" trio is the Honor 50 - a kind of a perfect medium in some ways. Other details are still not released.

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile

HTC decided to invest in such a brand by launching the One series of smartphones last year, although the company was not able to impose its own product names to certain carriers. Then, just a few days ago, the company launched the HTC One, which is going to be the company’s only One-branded handset this year, a make-or-break kind of project for the Taiwanese Android maker that’s still having a tough time fighting against the competition, especially Samsung. We were under the impression that HTC will further invest in its One brand and not budge to carrier demands anymore when it comes to changing the name of the product – in the U.S., AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are going to sell it as the HTC One. But it looks like things aren’t necessarily so, and no, it’s not Verizon that’s going to get its way selling the One as the Droid DNA Plus, as it was recently rumored. We’re looking at China Mobile this time around, which has announced the HTC One as the HTC TD 101. That’s certa...
