Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Galaxy A22 LTE


Samsung has announced their latest affordable 5G smartphone option - the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G.The model, which was announced alongside a non 5G variant named the Samsung Galaxy A22 LTE are both said to be entry level devices sitting below the Galaxy A32 whilst offering the option of 5G and high refresh rate displays for less money.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G 

The Galaxy A22 5G features a Mediatek Dimensity 700 series chipset (MT6833) with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB storage and a 6GB RAM option with 128GB or a 8GB RAM option with 128GB storage. The phone features a 5000mAh battery and 15W fast charging .The cameras on the phone are said to be 48MP main, 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor and a 8MP front facing camera - Both the front and rear can record 1080p. The front of the display features a 6.6" 1080x2400 TFT LCD with 90 Hz refresh rate and has a teardrop notch up front. The A22 5G features Android 11 Out of the box with One UI 3.1.

The Galaxy A22 5G features an octa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB storage and a 6GB RAM option with 128GB  The cameras on the phone are said to be 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor and a 13MP front facing camera - Both the front and rear can record 1080p. The front of the display features a 6.4" 1080x2400 AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate and has a teardrop notch up front. The A22  features Android 11 Out of the box with One UI 3.1.The battery on the A22 is said to be 5000 mAh.

Pricing is still yet to be announced, but we guess it to start at around EUR 230 for the base A22 5G variant and less for the standard A22 LTE model.

HTC One to sell as TD 101 at China Mobile
