Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is official.

Samsung has announced their long awaited Galaxy Z Fold 3, the phone, a successor to the Z flip 2 from last year, is a much needed successor to the line as features such as IPX8 water resistance, a new industrial design and a larger -more vibrant front display and feature set

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 888 Soc with 5G support. The phone also comes with 8GB of RAM and has 128GB or 256GB of storage (UFS 3.1) and like most modern Samsung flagships, it no longer has a MicroSD card for expansion.

The phone, which consists of a small notification display at the front and a larger display within the clamshell are both AMOLED panels and has smaller display has a 1.9" 260x512 color display and is complemented by a folding 6.7" 2640x1080 resolution 120hz display.

The front of the phone - basically the top of the phone clamshell consists of 2 cameras with 12MP resolution with one being wide angle (1/2.55" sensor) with OIS, and an ultra wide of 123 degrees. The inner camera is a 10MP unit and is nested inside a punch hole unlike the Z fold3.

The rest of the specs include a side mounted finger print sensor, a 3300 mAh battery with 25W fast charging , 11W fast wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. Pricing starts at USD 999/EUR 1049/GBP 949 for the base model or USD 1049/EUR1099/GBP 999 for the top end one and is expected to go on sale starting August 27th with special cases designed for the model consisting of a non-slip silicone finish and straps.

Samsung also announced The Galaxy Z Fold3 , Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 classic at their special unpacked event.

Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor. Poco has announced their latest handsets today - the Poco M5 and M5s for 2022.

The M5, powered by a helio G99 processor comes with 4GB of storage and has 64/128GB of internal storage and you can also get a 6GB Ram with 128GB storage as well. You also get a microSD card for expansion. Rest of the specs include a 6.58" LCD display and has a 5MP front camera and a rear 50MP main camera as well as a 2MP macro and 2mp depth sensor array as well. The second device is the M5s - this phone has a Helio G95 Soc and comes with the same 64/128 storage options and 4/6GB ram options for the 128GB model. Nikon 850 gets leaked ......does the top feature a hybrid EVF?

Obtained by NikonRumors , these two leaked press images give us the first look into what the Nikon D850 actually looks like . TL:DR - Nikon D850 has a larger penta-prism buldge on top , and it no longer features a pop up flash . The bulge will feature connectivity options (Wifi ? Bluetooth and NFC? GPS?) rather than a hybrid EVF(as rumored by many) as locking up the mirror for on sensor detection is still in its infancy ) . Nikon will implement this technology in the future once the tech improves and costs drop down , but by that time they will just feature a Mirrorless lineup as well. Although the new D850 shares the same DNA as its predecessor ,The first leaked images show us that the buttons are now illuminated , this is great for all those "Astrographers" who struggle with finding which is which on the 810 series as backlighting was left out .
